Just got an email with our NVC case number. Yay!

Only thing it was assigned to China. My wife is a Chinese citizen but lives and works in Japan. So now we need to get that changed. Yes we put Japan on the I-130 application.

If anyone has experience changing locations (or has to change their location) any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

Congrats... When was ur case received by NVC??

Looking for some DS-260 help.

In the employment section it asks for your current job but doesn't ask for a start date.

Then the next section asks if you have you been employed previously. When you check yes, it asks for the last 10 years starting with the most recent employer.

Am I repeating the same info as I did on the previous page for my current employer OR the most recent before my current employment???

There is a start and end date for this question, so it's confusing what they want here. Anyone have the same issue and figure it out?

Finally Documentarily Qualified! 😄

I just got an email - 7h30 EST, saying all our documents have been approved. We were delayed a week for having to resubmit docs.

Our timeline was:

September 14 -  Submitted all docs;

October 28 - Two docs rejected, one being an editable AOS form, and the other, the tax transcript, made no sense.

October 28 - I called NVC and complained about the tax transcript, and the rep agreed it made no sense and requested a supervisor review; he stressed I should not update the documents while the review was pending.

October 30 - I called again, and a different NVC rep told me I could update the docs if I wanted to.

October 30 - resubmitted the two docs. The transcript was the very same that had been rejected.

November 4 - DQ - I'm assuming a supervisor review happened and approved everything.

Yay!

Congrats! I got DQ on 10/22, submitted the docs to NVC on 09/09! Waiting for the interview date now! I hope we receive it soon!

Hello,

first congratulations 🎉

from the moment you receive your approval to the moment they send to NVC it can take from a week to a month for them to transfer your case . They don’t do it the same day  as your approval . But according to what I see recently . They are faster ( around 10 days at NSC) that when I had mine ! Lol ( about a month from USCIS approval and date they sent to NVC )

if you have case tracker , or USCIS .gov or my USCIS you gonna see when they send your file to the NVC
