It's not a question of whether it's true or not, it is a fact.

I have the letter in hand.

5 or 6 weeks from online status changing to "interview was scheduled" to actual interview date is completely normal (and about one week from status changing online to note in the mail is completely normal, too).

It's time from "ready to be scheduled for an interview" to "interview was scheduled" that is unpredictable.

Wow that's good news. I also know of a Couple that filed for K1 based AOS sometime around February or March and have just gone for their interview in Dallas Field Office.

So it's going folks. Slow and steady...

Sorry for the delayed update. Just got back into town from a business trip so haven't had a chance to post this.

We had our interview this past Monday (12/2) early afternoon and were approved a few hours later.

When I get a little more time I'll post more details on the actual interview experience.

Feel free to ask any questions you might have and I'll be happy to answer as best as I can.

We filed early Feb 2019 and we had our interview yesterday. It already said card being processed by the time we got home, and today says your case was approved.

Hi Texas residents,

I noticed many filers from some States get scheduled pretty fast. Texas seem to be pretty slow. I also don't seem to see comments from Texas filers, especially those who filed this year. So I decided to create this thread so we can all talk about our experiences, frustrations and successes.

Here are a few stats for Texas filers. There are five (5) field offices in Texas (El Paso, Harlingen, San Antonio, Dallas and Houston). I arranged them in the order of processing time with El Paso having the fastest processing time and Houston having the least. Currently there are 17,256 pending cases with Houston and they only process an average of 1730 cases per month and they receive 1130 cases per month (do the math).

I and my hubby are with Dallas Field Office which is almost as slow as Houston.

The wait continues.

We are in Houston and had the bio appointment on November 12,2019......Just waiting like everyone else.Good luck everyone!!!!!!!!!!

We received the physical green card on Saturday 12/7 exactly 5 days after our interview.

That's a lot faster than I expected but we may have just been lucky.

I've left a detailed review of our interview experience on my timeline if any of you would like to get an idea of what to expect.

Good luck to all!

Hi Everyone.  My wife just received her NOA2 for our interview which will be Jan 29, 2020.  We are a little in shock since we sent our packet on September 30, 2019 and notified of receipt on October 9th.  Our field office is San Antonio.
