Beer? My favorite is Adnams Broadside, an ESB. I also really like the Angel City IPA and Double IPA.

Fall?  Around here I think we refer to that as the peak of hurricane season.

Stay safe out there! Overnight lows here tonight in the mid to upper 50s. I feel complete.  I may even drink another PSL. 

 

But I have to fly to LA tomorrow morning for a brief visit, and my friends there say it has been brutal this week in the Valley. Not looking forward to it, even if I manage to make it to the Angel City Brewery.

New beer night.  Shorts “A Tribe Called Zest”, a double IPA with lime, lemon, grapefruit, tangerine and Seville orange zest.  Pretty good.

90F tomorrow in Burbank, which is down from mid-90s/100F this week. Every time I think about moving back to SoCal I remember how gross September/October are and NOPE. Thankful my mom and dad have central air.

Low here tonight/tomorrow 80, high only around 90, so quite nice with just the usual humidity. 

 

About the same on Big Pine Key, where I am a couple of long weekends a month, except an overnight low of 83.

 

Love this time of year!  In Naples I'll be in the pool  tonight. Down in the Keys I'd be at a nearby sandbar sipping down a few cold ones.

I know what you mean. I used to hate going to the Underwood Farm in Simi valley for their fall festival and it would be 85 degrees that day.

You'd think I'd be used to it growing up in the Valley but noooooooooooo. I spent 4 years in RI, and time on and off in the UK and now almost a year up here and it's SO much more comfortable. Well, it's better up here than in RI at least!
