Filing date for I-751 was September 22, 2019

reveived biometrics letter early January

appointment scheduled for today January 22 but he went in yesterday (Seattle office) and they let him do a walk in. Our case is with Nebraska office. Is the next step waiting for an interview date?  
they stamped and signed his biometrics appointment letter yesterday. Are we supposed to do anything with that or just keep it?

You don't need to do anything with it other than keep it with your files.

Just came back home from my biometrics appointment. Mine was scheduled at 10 and I got there at 9:40. They took me right in and I was out in 10 minutes. Not sure if anybody has mentioned this but bring your expired green card. I brought the appointment letter, my state ID and my green card just in case.

 

And now, the long wait for either an interview or approval.

Had my Biometrics Appointment today. Now we can really be back on the waiting game. One guy came with no ID and no letter and they did not let him in. So make sure you bring the Appointment letter + ID or at least your Greencard and the Appointment letter, just as it is stated on the letter itself.

Finally got the biometrics letter, it was dated Jan 17 but I didn't get it until Jan 31, with an appointment for Feb 7 - not much of an advance notice. Good thing I wasn't away on a business trip or anything. LIN service center BTW.

No updates here but just wanted to point out that my case status hasn't changed after biometrics were taken nearly two weeks ago.

9/4/2019 - Packet was sent
9/6/2019 - Packet was received by USCIS in Phoenix, Arizona

My husband did biometrics two weeks ago in Seattle and his status hasn’t changed either. His case is in Lincoln Nebraska. What does the status usually change to?

It will eventually update to show "my case was updated to show fingerprints were taken." 

August 20, 2016 ----> May 5, 2021

1,720 days ----> 4 years, 8 months, and 16 days
