No, we haven’t yet. Since my fiancé has lived in other countries we are waiting to get the police reports first so that we don’t run the risk of not having it in time for the interview. I hope we’re able to snag a November date because our NOA1 expires in December.

Has anyone had to request an extension for their NOA1 or 2? If so how easy/difficult was it?

thanks for the heads up re: the dates :) @G&BN

Go ahead and schedule it and if you need to reschedule you get one opportunity. But I say be safe then sorry. Just pick the last date available date in November. That gives you and him roughly two months to get all that he needs.

September 12th , didn't make it for this shipment though still says "at NVC"

Our case number was also assigned on the 12th and it says at NVC for us too.

It took a while today, but our case shows "in-transit" and we barely made the cutoff since the case was assigned on the 11th.  Our luck seems to have changed for the better!

NVC received our case today and told us we would have a case number tomorrow 😀! So happy.  Not sure what to be doing now in the meantime to make things easier for myself in the long run. Is it too early to book my medical?

When did you call. My nao2 was 08/27 last night they told they didn’t received it yet. When was your Nao2 I noticed your profile said 8/29

I think its best to wait until Friday or monday to call.  The next shipment is 2 weeks out, no need to call yet.
