So I can see alot of people have been talking about it, but I can't seem to make up what's accepted by the NVC.

For example my wife's 2018 tax transcript, which is roughly 5 pages, should that be uploaded as 1 PDF file, or split into 5 PDF files?

And does anybody know if my wife's 2017 tax transcript would be accepted as the most current year, since US citizens living abroad have until June to file their taxes, and so therefore they will not be ready until July probably.

Her income will not meet the poverty guideline as her job is not continuing to the US, so we are using her father as a joint-sponsor and we do have his three years tax transcript including the 2018.

Yes, all the pages belonging to one transcript should be loaded together. If you have multiple years of transcripts then you need to load them separately by the year.

On my case I only submitted my 2017 transcripts as like you said my 2018 were not available (I live abroad with my husband) and I got CC yesterday.

Thank you so much for your answer, and big congrats to your CC ! :D

Did you upload any documentation saying why you didn't have the 2018 transcripts yet?
Or give them an explanation somehow?

I didn’t, BUT knowing how incompetent the NVC is, maybe it won’t hurt to write a note explaining under the notes section.

Select “not available” under the Tax returns tab and under the notes section explain why.

good luck!

We got our case complete on May 6th from NVC and that they will work with the embassy for an interview.

Anyone know what are the wait times for the Colombian embassy?

Some one posted on this thread, the newspaper reported Bogota is handling immigrant visas for Caracas since the embassy in caracas is closed.

Submit an explanation.

I lived abroad with my husband and I didn't file for 2016 and 2017, on the affidavit of support there's a question that asks "did you file taxes for the past 3 years"

I checked no, and I got "incomplete- Please provide an explanation why you did not file taxes for 2016 and 2017"

submit an explanation to cover yourself.

@John & Rose Good Morning, I thought  I had the I-864 figured out but i keep reading on it because I want to do it right. I did catch somethings i was doing wrong or about to do wrong but now i am confused on what i just read. I know i will file 3 forms for husband and step kids, but its telling me to add their names in part 3 and in part 5 five telling me the total would be 3 for the each of them and 1 for myself. Then i read no each form will have their own names in part 3 and part 5 i would do this for the total (1 for him and 1 for me). Which is true if NVC what to see my household total which will be 4 and that i can take care of them and my self. Thank you and anyone that could help

took me 7 days to finish. we got our case number last tues, 14th, and case complete today.

Depends how fast you submit fees and docs. It takes about 3 days after you pay for you to do the application and submit docs.

Yes we had to resubmit today, but it got accepted within 45mins.

We had to resubmit marriage cert. But everything is accepted now.

Wow... 7 days?? That is amazing! I thought the NVC stage took 4 weeks after they give you a case number! Has NVC's processing time sped up? Or does the faster you submit fees and docs once the portal becomes available the faster they review your submission?

If u filled three separate petitions..then three AOS..the intending immigrant is not a house hold member untill he or she is in US...so if u r filling for your spouse then the Intending Immigrant u sposnsor would be 1 for reach AIS and just add your self to it...for Example I filled three separate petitions...my wife and two kids this is what I did...
