Does my fiance have to fly from Manila?

Hello, this is urgent! Upon leaving the Philippines with her Visa and CFO, does my fiance need to leave any particular airport? She is from Davao, and I see tickets that go from DVO- HK - LAX with no Manila. Will this be an issue if she just leaves the Philippines from Davao?

I am concerned because everyone seems to leave only Manila. 🤔

Don't see why not. Mean, she will show her CFO at the airport to fly the same as for Manila I would think so, shouldn't matter at all.

Nice to know there are direct flights again from DVO-HKG. Or maybe I just haven't been paying close enough attention lately... ;) I normally just fly DVO-MNL.

Your fiancee should have no problem whatsoever. Even easier if she doesn't have to transfer in Manila, especially if it's between terminals - the different terminals in Manila are not close together and it can be a hassle transferring, especially with luggage.

Best of luck on your new journey!

As long as she has her visa and CFO sticker any airport is just fine.

What airport she leaves is not an issue.  Unless its changed she will have some fees to pay for leaving though.

Good to know

Singapore used to be about the only one in the last few years, must of opened up some new routes to Davao.

Yeah they are opening up routes there this year. I know Qatar Airways will start flying 1 day a week to Davao initially starting in June. Not to mention Xiamen Air will start sometime this year as well.

I can see certain airlines doing that, especially with all the OFWs
