Binders and plastic covers are a waste. They take everything out and throw those away.  Just stack everything and put it in the envelope.   Our packet was sent out yesterday.  Here we go again 😬

My status finally was updated to “new card is being produced”. I filed on March 3,2019!

Got a text message this morning that there was a case update .. status changed to "Card is Being Produced"   Our case was at LIN (Nebraska).   -David

I just checked the status and guess what, approved!! I filed on March 29 and my service center was LIN. Approved with no interview or RFE.

Hello!  We sent our paperwork off yesterday.  Did everyone send their marriage certificate?  I read that you didn’t have to send items that were already sent with AOS so I did not include that.  

Also, did everyone send in affidavits?  We did not and no I’m worried about that. 😬.

I do not plan to send our marriage certificate.  I do not plan to send affidavits........per the VJ guide saying they are not required......I have strong evidence without them..

August 7, 2022: Wife filed N-400 Online under 5 year rule.

November 10, 2022: Received "Interview is scheduled" letter.

December 12, 2022:  Received email from Dallas office informing me (spouse) to be there for combo interview.

December 14, 2022: Combo Interview for I-751 and N-400 Conducted.

January 26, 2023: Wife's Oath Ceremony completed at the Plano Event Center, Plano, Texas!!!😁

February 6, 2023: Wife's Passport Application submitted in Dallas, Texas.

March 21, 2023:   Wife's Passport Delivered!!!!

May 15, 2023 (about):  Naturalization Certificate returned from Passport agency!!

 

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Thank you so much!!!  I was in a panic.  I felt like we had enough evidence too and didn’t want bother my family and friends again. I sent in 20 different items. Man I didn’t miss this anxious feeling at all!!

Checking the processing time for ROC, pretty much over passing the 3 years period when can apply for Citizenship, it looks like we will file N400 before getting the 10years GC. am I right?

My wife's I-751 package is complete and ready to mail via USPS Priority Mail tomorrow.

 

We both signed & dated the I-751

I wrote & signed a cover letter per the VJ guide

I have written a check for $680 & attached it to the I-751 (U.S. Department of Homeland Security)

I have addressed it to the Dallas, TX PO Box

I included about 19 different supporting items including ALL joint checking account statements since my wife arrived....and much more.

I placed a single metal document clip at the top

I have looked the entire package over 3 times......
