I think you can do early walk-in but you may have to go after 2pm because in the morning it's always busy. I went to the one in Long Island, NY. It's like 5-6 people there.

Thanks for letting me know

We did my walk-in first thing in the morning and were the 2nd in line.

Adding on to this. Pretty much in the same boat as G2R.

Mailed to Lewisville.

Mailed the package on 2/26. It arrived on 2/28.

So far nothing yet. No check cashed (also a personal check), no message, and no returned package.

Will update when I hear something.

Hi. I have good news. I finally received the text message with receipt number today. I am so relieved. I just checked my bank account and the check is not cashed yet. I am hoping it will be alright for you too. Mine came on the 18th day after they received my application. 18 long days. Anyway, keep us updated if you get any updates.

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

Hi all,

Sorry, got lazy about keeping up with the forum.  We mailed our forms February 1, they were received February 11 (not sure why the long lag time there), and the NOA is dated February 14th.  No biometrics appointment letter yet.  I know everyone is nervous about this, but I feel a little uneasy given the state of our mail in Chicago.  We routinely get mail for our neighbors, and I know for a fact that I didn't get a medical bill that was past due by the time I decided to look it up online.  We have some of the worst mail service in the country.  Not reassuring!

Does anyone know if you can see online if a biometrics appointment has been scheduled?  Or is that not something they update?  It would make me feel better if I knew I could see it online in the event that the notice doesn't make it into our hands.

Starting to get a bit antsy about not getting the Biometrics letter. know it's normal, but still something we'd like to check the box on and then forget out USCIS until N400 time in Jan 2020.

Looks like Vermont and California Service Centers are sending out Biometrics Appt. faster than Nebraska Service Center. Any LIN-ers who got Biometric Appointment?

I have California so i hope to get mine soon so I do not have to ask to go there while I will be working.

Came across a few of these searching bio metrics and i751.. just fyi

More than a few said USCIS are using the previously captured fingerprints and information for the bio-metrics data.

Here it is reveals that some people who filed back in December and some further back haven't received a bio metric letter from LIN and a page was created for LIN by someone..

My husband received his Biometrics appointment letter on yesterday scheduling for 3-27-19. MSC Service Center is processing. We had to send a request to reschedule due to planned trip during that time. We did not receive an appointment for our 17 yo daughter nor did we receive her 18 month extension letter. Sent a inquiry letter with the request to reschedule the biometrics appointment.
