I just got my NOA2 in the mail! Took 5 months, filed on July 21st and the form was dated December 26th.

What's weird is that it's not showing up online or on my iPhone app.

Has anybody else experienced this?

I would check your mail since they seem not to be working on the online stuff! What do you think?

It's not at all uncommon to get the print notification before either web site (the "old" web site and the apps will show the same thing) updates, or even for neither web site to be updated.

It's highly recommended that you get informed delivery from the postal service if they offer it for your area, so you can get an email with pictures of all of your incoming print mail. That's how I first saw or NOA2.

Congratulations!

Our NOA2 was approved 12/11/2018 and my case is still 'Received' on both USCIS sites, just waiting for the NVC Case Number now :D

Our experience:

Old status site:    Shows nothing....still.

New status site (with sign on):    Shows NOA2 approved 1/22

Mail arrived yesterday:   Shows NOA2 approved 1/18

Just read a post from a Columbian, who mentioned that they needed to see "ready" status before they could pay the application fee.  I was figuring on completing DS160 and getting the fee paid while the case was with NVC.    Anyone have insights to whether or not we can pay the fee prior to "ready" status??

Did you have to bribe someone to get a Valentine's Day interview date??     😁

Very cool.

Combination of Anastasia being sentimental and Thursdays working out better for her to go to Moscow for the medical and interview in one trip. There were also openings on the 12th when she could first pick a date.

Right !!   I forgot that you can schedule appointments at many embassies.  In Bangkok, they schedule the interview.   Very nice you got that date and best of luck !!

Depends on the Embassy. For Manila you can...

Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.
