Hello,

I had my biometrics appointment today after 11 long months. However, the machine was having issues reading my fingerprint for just 3 individual fingers on my left hand and 1 one my right hand. Has anyone had this issue? The lady submitted them just like that but she made sure that they were clear enough.

Best regards,

Good day Amazing People,

Do you guys receive the email from VisaJourney.com where is send an Approval Estimate, the last couple of weeks has been crazy, from February to May. Is this happening to other users? or just me?

Congrats to all the users that have been approved so far!

VJ sends that email to every member with a timeline that has a petition in process.

It’s not accurate.  It’s based solely on user provided data, so there’s a big margin for error.  It also doesn’t capture every petition since not everyone with a pending file at USCIS is a member here.

Your best bet is to use the general timeline provided by USCIS, again, that’s not accurate as there’s a 2-month lag in reporting.

Yes, it seems like they are approving some January applications now. They received my application on 01/14. My Biometrics appointment was on 08/27.

I came to the US on a K1 visa in 2016 and then applied for AOS after getting married.

Best regards,

I had similar issue. Both my little finger fingerprints didn't match. Based on perusal of some threads online, this can go either way. It might be accepted or they might reschedule you for fingerprinting. Average time in prior years was 2 weeks to know if they are not acceptable. Now, i don't know.

01/18/2019  Check cashed electronically.

02/07/2019  Called USCIS regarding non delivery of receipt . They asked me to call back after 30 days have expired since delivery

02/11/2019  Called USCIS again regarding non delivery of receipt. Mentioned that license will expire along with greencard on 02/28.

The lady filed a request on my behalf so i could schedule infopass.

                        I separately also filed e-request(https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=ndn

by choosing I-751 and other option , before calling USCIS just in case.

02/13/2019 Got callback from USCIS that infopass cannot be scheduled, but they will mail

                       a duplicate notice.

11/08/2019 Biometrics got completed

Hi everyone, today I have received email notification that On November 15, 2019, your Form I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE, Receipt Number LIN******, was transferred to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Is that normal? I have applied for Naturalization last Week.
