@Greenbaum is it better to join this group or stay on the October group, or maybe both haha? NOA2 is 10/17. I'm assuming from today till 11/12-13 any day to get case number is equal. Getting a case number quicker won't exactly do anything quicker at the embassy end, right?

P.S Pakistan doesn't have the packet 3 requirement to schedule interview and medical, planning on doing it as soon as I get the case number, at least that's something that I can do.

Either group or both. We are running a special, pay for Oct and you get Nov FREE.

Getting a case number sooner then later still will put in line to get your case sent to the Embassy only on those dates. In fact, if it were me I wouldn't waste my time on the phone because once you have you case number your file is still going to sit until those dates. So why not sit back and chill out and call in about a or 10 days when you know there is a better opportunity in receiving your approval.

When planning your medical and interview keep in mind your Embassy will not move forward with an interview until such time as you case has arrived and they have set your file to "ready". Schedule to soon and you use up one of your "passes" for another interview. Use 2 and your at the back of the line and I mean the beginning back of the line to start all over.

Your walking on a tightrope so keep your balance and not do something stupid.

@Greenbaum Hope you can answer this question for me. Base on your expertise do you think it's possible that I could finish my interview before Xmas?

my noa2 was Oct 31. I try looking at some other member here timeline from my country but one show me it took 6 months for the embassy to receive after noa2 and I know that wrong. My fiance parents want to know if I'm gonna make it for Xmas. Thanks in advance.

Well, I suggest you use the tools I have on the front page and locate others from your country and look at their timelines that will pretty much tell you how long it takes once your file is in Ghana. Working backwards from NOA2 it will take about 4 weeks before your file is even in Ghana. So you'll soon know the answer once you do this research.

I was going to join October but thought it would be nice to join November as we'll all be in the stage together and can figure this part out together. But of course there's no wrong thing! I had just started to read October and got overwhelmed LOL.

Hahaha I'll take you up on that offer. You're absolutely right, I have the GRE on 11/14 so I'm just gonna concentrate on that. I'll pay fee and try to schedule once the embassy has received the case. Have waited so long, trying to remain calm and of course not do something stupid 😎 thanks @Greenbaum you're the best!

Not chilly here at all!!!!!!!

Oh yeah I think it's summer time in Australia? In Pakistan it has started to snow in the northern areas. My city has started to become chilly as a result.

Hello everyone!

To:  @Greenbaum and someone had experience of transfering the case.

My approval is November 1. I want to transfer the interview of my fiance to her home country. When is the best time to email NVC to request a change? And do I need to call them as well? Or just email them?

Thank you!
