Good news! Sent a letter late this evening to my lawyer regarding a delay in receiving our receipt number, hoping for a response tomorrow and she sent me the notice that it had been received! So now I have an NOA1! Have to update out timeline but it's late so it will wait. Your posts are what prompted me to email my lawyer and see what was taking so long, so THANKS to all!

I got the Nebraska Processing Center, not a fast one if memory serves. BTW the "priority date" is Oct. 9 and the"notice date" is Oct. 11. Preference Classification - 201B INA Spouse of USC...

Hi! Do you know why there was a delay in you receiving your NOA1 or receipt? I’ve been waiting for almost four months to receive mine and I’m trying to figure out what’s going on. Thanks!

You did not say what service center is processing the I-130.  Nebraska Service Center is processing mine so I don't expect to receive any more notices until July-August, 2019.

Yours may processed a month or so before mine, judging from the processing center times. Let's keep our fingers crossed that all goes well.

I'm surprised to see so few people in the October group! I am currently living in Finland with my husband and I filed his petition in early October but it took nearly three weeks to be received...

10/03/2018 I-130 mailed from Finland to Chicago Lockbox

10/23/2018 - USCIS received petition

10/29/2018 - USCIS processed payment

11/01/2018- Received NOA1 in the mail

:)

Did you file using DHL or snail mail?

I’ve been following September filers and I’m starting to get notifications from them stating that they received their NOA2 already. But it’s from Potomac center. I filed October, hopefully we will be hearing something soon....Maybe next month🙄
