Will my fiance learn about a previous K1 application from another relationship?

Good day members,

I applied for and received a K1 visa with someone in 2015 but we decided to not get married.  I have a new fiance and I was wondering will she be informed about my previous K1 application from a different relationship years ago.

Thanks,

K

Yes. They will. On the forms it asks about any previous petitions/visas so you will have to disclose this info or you will be lying an causing misrepresentation.

Be upfront with you new fiance and just tell them about it, and it's done.

I'm assuming this is the beneficiary asking though.

If the USC still have to disclose on the forms and the CO will see about it and ask the beneficiary during the interview most likely and if they don't have knowledge of it, probably can cause a denial.

Do they formally tell her? No. They  will almost certainly ask about it in the interview, though, and you don't want her blindslided. You have to disclose it on the paperwork she has to sign as well.

My two cents is that it's best to begin marriage with eyes wide open..no unfortunate preventable surprises.

Thanks B&Z, I thought about it but somehow think it might hurt her feelings.

and the CO will tell her and when CO' realizes she doesn't know,  there will be a dienial for not having real relationship and telling each other all things

Yes she did visit the US and she was a Chinese citizen.  Current finance is also Chinese.  I live and work in Asia.

If you live and work in Asia, why are you applying for a fiancé visa? You have to show USCIS that you live in the US permanently. If you live in Asia, your fiancé doesn’t need an immigrant visa to be reunited with you. She can’t use that visa to visit. She has to make the move permanently. That is the purpose of an immigrant visa.
