How did you get your passport stamp? Did you go to USCIS office to do that?

Search for a uscis service center near you create an infopass appointment on that date you can go to the service center and have your stamp assuming you don't have your NOA1 yet before your appointment for infopass.

Edit: You can have a stamp 30 days prior to your gc's expiration or even if your gc's expired.

I just wanted to share my experience calling the USCIS with everyone. I called to check what happens if I get my biometrics letter while traveling.

She confirmed that you can call and reschedule if you are outside of the country. Now I feel more confident scheduling my flight.

She did also submit a request on my behalf for none-delivery of the biometrics letter and said that I should hear something back within 30 days.

I hope the government shutdown does not affect the process of reentering the US.

When you check your status at  https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do (is this even the correct page?)

what does it say?

Mine says error but it matches the receipt number and all. We received our extension letter (no biometrics yet) but wondering if this is normal.

thanks for helping!

That's the correct link, mine always says error, saying that they don't recognize my receipt number. Never received anything from USCIS, and it's been more than 2 months. But they helped me set up infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp.

That's the old site that basically doesn't work anymore.  You need to create an account on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov and add a paper file with your receipt number.

Hi everybody! :)

This is my first post in this thread, nice to meet you all! I filed package i-751 in October and I am still waiting for my biometrics appointment. I sent a service request and should be hearing back by February 6 (fingers crossed!). I just want to keep track on when everybody is getting their appointment dates because I want to travel back to Argentina but I do not want to leave before getting this done, and the wait is killing me.

I have a question. My sister is about to file her package as well and she found instructions saying that "two completed form FD-258 fingerprint cards" should be sent with the application, but I had not heard about this until now and the lawyers who put together my package never mentioned it. Did you include that in your application, or do you know if it is a new requirement? Thanks!

It doesn't update as well, at least for my case. I just received my NOA but it still says the same thing on my USCIS account since the day I added my receipt number, which is "we received your case". So the only way that works for me to check my case is to regularly call their customer service.
