  1. Are you checking the status in https://myaccount.uscis.gov/? My status there shows "Fingerprint Review Was Completed". And when I check on https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do it shows "Fingerprint Fee Was Received". I applied in California and even though I moved to the Midwest in January and then applied for Citizenship in October no movement was made about my I-751. I am still hoping that after I do the Biometrics for the n-400 they will transfer my I-751.
  2. My Biometrics appointment is scheduled for 11/22. I'm still waiting for CSC to process my I-751 though... they didn't even transfer my case even though I moved to the Midwest 9 months ago.
  3. There is a Document Checklist here (link extracted from https://www.uscis.gov/n-400). For the "Documents referring to you and your spouse" part, even though the checklist stated either tax return transcripts or "Tax returns, bank accounts, leases, mortgages or birth certificates of children", the online form kind of suggests that you submit copies of all of the documents that might help your case (which makes sense), so in my case I went ahead and submitted everything that I had. The Guide to Naturalization also has some useful information, like this: "Note that unless a traffic incident was alcohol or drug related, you do not need to submit documentation for traffic fines and incidents that did not involve an actual arrest if the only penalty was a fine of less than $500 and/or points on your driver's license."
  4. It's been 9 months since I've moved. I changed my address with USCIS properly and all. With California so backed up and so many cases from California being transferred, I just wanted to estimate, in case they do transfer my I-751 because of the N-400, when that might happen. Was your I-751 transferred after applying for N-400? Or do you know someone who had this happen to them?
  5. Thanks! I am aware of this risk and I am taking my chances. Yes, USCIS has some issues... I've had problems with them before, you can see in my timeline, so my expectations are in check. I did change my address properly too.
  6. How long after applying for Citizenship does it take for USCIS to transfer the I-751 case? I applied for Removal of Conditions in California, so I am eternally waiting (12+ months and counting). Then, in October 28 I submitted my application for Citizenship and now I'm in the Midwest. I've seen some cases here of people who had their I-751 case transferred after submitting n-400. I am wondering if and when it will happen for me.

  8. I have just submitted my application online. Good luck for us all.
  9. Check this (source here): "VJ strongly discourages the use of google docs for monthly filer threads; there are privacy concerns as they are not administered by VJ, so others can potentially see your Google login and from that other info about you and your loved ones, and there is also the potential loss of all the data if the original creator of a doc removes it from their drive. Please use the threads themselves or the VJ wiki, for your data gathering needs."
  10. In which State should I apply for N-400 if I pay income taxes in one state and live in another? I am allowed to pay income taxes at my spouse's State of residency by the Military Spouse Residency Relief Act (updated Dec 2018), but I don't currently live or have an address there. Can I apply in the Jurisdiction where I live, so I don't have to travel for a future interview?
  11. I am preparing to apply for N-400 while I-751 is still pending. How do I request the N-400 and I-751 combo interview? Is there a specific form I should file for that or do I just write a letter and attach to my online application? (I am assuming the online application accepts attachments) Thanks in advance
  12. My I-751 is still pending. Is it better to wait to apply for N-400 or just do it already? I see some of you waited the ROC approval. Why? Also, I moved from the West Coast to the Midwest and changed my address with USCIS, but my I-751 is still being processed in California. If I apply for N-400 now, what are the chances of my I-751 being transferred? Also, how do we request the combo interview?
  13. After reading this, I decided to remove my information from the document: "VJ strongly discourages the use of google docs for monthly filer threads; there are privacy concerns as they are not administered by VJ, so others can potentially see your Google login and from that other info about you and your loved ones, and there is also the potential loss of all the data if the original creator of a doc removes it from their drive.
