I agree. The numbers don’t make sense. People in July already approved. I wish they had a progress bar: case received - case assigned to adjunctor - background check submitted- background check cleared... Or something so that we know something is happening!

So, do you have any idea how much time that would add to their time adjudicating cases. There is a system available now and you can see what the progress is here: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/more-info The down fall of most is they want it NOW but it is not going to happen.  JMHO

We got RFE through old website and on the new website no changes. In general I can't see any logic how do they work with cases and websites...

You'll be the first to figure it out if you do. Good luck with that venture.

I wonder if they are phasing out the old site. I haven't seen many people that have had approvals show up on the old site.

Old site: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

Is it okay if i sign up to the new site? even if my fiance already had an account there? i just want to check our case.

From what I saw approvals after RFE were as quick as 9 days. It seems it would depends on if they were waiting for something else, like result of background checks for example.  Official RFE regulation only states

I am not sure where you got 75 day. Hopefully it won't be nearly as long as though! But upcoming holidays and vacation times might slow things down a tad.

Thank you! That's what I'm most afraid of because I understand the Holidays are coming up. I'm hoping it can be like a Christmas gift for us ❤️ Thank you for trying to help. I really appreciate it.

Follow the instructions closely and return as soon as you can. Yours is simple and will be adjudicated rather quickly 2-4 weeks.

Thank you Mr. @Greenbaum. We will wait patiently ❤️ Here's hoping, we would hear something before Christmas.

We got a phantom “change of status” notification a couple of weeks ago.  No change on any app or website.  Never figured out what it meant.  I’ll just hope that we get something through the mail soon!

I got an email and a notification on the app saying there was a change in status, there is no change on the app or either website and nothing in the mail. Its so frustration 😠

Do you guys know or can determine by your NOA2 how long the mail with NOA2 goes? It seems that silent approvals are quite "popular" in this threat...wondering if our will be silent as well how long it will take to reach us.

It was on Nov 26th/27th, happened to everyone. The generic 'your case is received' response was altered slightly (in case you haven't received your NOA1 call us was replaced with place an inquiry online). That's it. It came out as 'case status change alert' on all tracker apps

I just found out we were approved on Dec 3.  I am in Ukraine now spending the holidays with my fiance.  My sister checked the mail yesterday and saw the letter from Homeland Security.

The online case status did not update - I have been checking every other day for the past two weeks.

Hopefully the case will clear NVC within four weeks so I can be here to help her with the application process on her end.
