Did you guys fill out the DS-160 yet? As soon as you got the NVC Case number or how did you go about it? I want to wait until we have his interview booked until I get the letter from my employer and such in order to make sure everything is as recent as they want.

You should fill out the DS160 out while the papers are in transit to the NVC. You can update the NVC once received. I was able to move through the process quickly because the online application had been completed and saved online.

I can't believe how quickly the process speeds up once the papers are at the NVC.

It seems like I was just awaiting the NOA2 in agony. Suddenly, we've scheduled our interview and pre-work almost complete.

Thank God…for everything. Special thanks to @Pedro0319  I truly thank God for you and your support!

Hi, we’re the same. Our NOA2 date is May 28 too. We haven’t tried calling NVC, maybe we will just wait for the hardcopy then. :D

Hello, case has been at the NVC for 17 days now.  Spoke to someone this morning and they told me it was undergoing administrative processing.  Is anyone else going through the same? What could constitute administrative processing? I thought it was the embassy who does the actual processing.

It's rare but NVC can also do AP.  I know of a case recently where they were in AP at NVC and after the interview also.  Typically it's not a long process, but it really varies.  I think most are out of NVC AP in 3-4 weeks, but it could always be longer or short, it just depends.  Nothing you can do at this point.

Really mate thanks for your ever so helpful reply. that was completely pointless.. Im getting fed up with people like you on these forums where they have comment on people asking genuine questions... how about you dont reply if you have nothing of use or helpful to say. Some people have jobs and do not have all day to search the forums for replies. This is a May Filers Group and we are all here to help each other your comment was pointless and served absolutely no purpose so in future if you dont like someone asking a question that you have already "Answered" dont reply and let someone who is helpful reply.

I believe reading is fundamental. While others are here to help, there is nothing wrong with reading through the May 2018 NOA2  before asking a redundant question. i am sorry that is just laziness if you are unwilling to read through the forum. These kind folks who answer the questions are not getting paid for this. They do this for free. It is not appropriate for you to jump on them when all was asked, is you do some reading. Can you imagine what it is like if you had to answer the same question over and over again when the person who asked the question could have had the answer if they were willing to read.

i am not trying to call you out but i noticed in most of the threads that you post in, you are synonymous with arguing with people and negativity. We are all here for the same reason, it is important that we learn to get along. as the old saying goes, 'you will get more with honey than you will with Vinegar'.
