Happy Monday!

I have a question so the new letter of intent to marry and the affidavit of support can my fiance take copies to the interview or does he have to take the originals? Do they want to see the wet signatures?  I've been seeing mixed answers about this.

The reason u see mixed answers is that it depends on the embassy-
some embassies want a wet signature, others don't care.

I personally took original everything to avoid a headache.
but Nigeria's packet never indicated that something had to be a wet signature...

This is really an impossible question-
So many things determine when ur interview happens:
How quickly ur case leaves NVC, how backlogged ur embassy is, etc

however, 1.5-2.5 months from NOA2 is reasonable AVERAGE

Thank you for the response.

One of my good friends is traveling to Nigeria at the end of the month so Im going to give the documents to her to give to him I just pray nothing happens along the way. Thats the only option I have for him getting the originals because I don't trust mailing it. I'm also going to scan copies to him too just in case.

Hello! Received my noa2 on may 7th.just curious on what the next steps are. So the only way I can get my nvc# is by calling nvc after 14 days? And after I get my number what website do I use to track it?

Hi.......once you have the number go here

Here you'll see either

 * At nvc(means they still have it)

 * In transit(means it's on the way to your embassy)

 * Ready(you can book your interview and medical)

Hi, I'm from November filer and got our I-797 just recently.

Anyone from Indonesia here?

I got a really bad timing. My passport is currently being held to my employer regarding S.Korean C-3-4 visa application.
I'm going to Pohang for 60 days starting 3rd week of this month. Will it be okay if I request for the consulate to hold on to my case after I get back home? My fiance said our I-797 validity is until September, 2nd. That's a pretty tight timeline.

Should have hand in my resignation earlier

2018.05.08 I-797 received

Just wanted to make sure I am getting everything in order for the I134:

1.i134 form

2. Paychecks from last 3 months

3. Employer letter verifying you are working, salary, etc.

4. Bank statements showing accounts

5. Tax Transcripts for past 3 years  (retrieved online on IRS Website )

6. W-2s from past 3 years

Am I missing anything?

We are joining this NVC thread since our NOA2 approval date was May 2nd from NOA1 date 9/11/17.

Anyone here from Brazil on this thread?

What at is usually the timeline from NOA2 to NVC to Embassy in RDJ?

My fiancé is here with me in United States visiting since April 21 and won’t be returning to Brazil not until June 12. Do you guys think that his case will be ready before then? I hope he gets his interview end of June or July so we won’t be apart for very long.

Soft copies from him:

Ok... my fiancé has been telling me the wrong apt number to list on all documents... this is actually his brothers apartment but he has been staying there until he moves to the us... and his brother wrote us a letter to verify our relationship and references the apartment (including the apt number) in the letter.. my fiancé was telling me it’s 01 but it is actually 02 🤦🏻‍♀️ Anyone know if this will be a problem?

Is there anywhere we can check online for nvc status? Like if the NVC got our case? To avoid having to call?

@EllyNelly There is no way but calling the NVC to get your case number. After they tell you your case number you can track it to see when it’s IN TRANSIT or READY(delivered at the embassy).
