Yes, you can. it's not guaranteed.

We suggest you begin to call NVC after 2 weeks from your approval date. Follow the instructions here:  https://sites.google.com/view/post-noa2/home

After that, the timeline changes for how soon your case gets to your Belgrade embassy and how soon you get to your interview. 
As far as documents, check your embassy forum here on VJ if there is one, to see what others are doing. Sometimes, some embassies e-mail you the documents you need.

Yup! It sucks. USCIS are not very helpful either. I’m aware that others have been waiting longer than me though so I am remaining patient for now.

also my online uscis status still shows "case received" 

wonder if uscis knows my case is already being sent to the embassy for interview 

never pay attention to the apps, email or online status. it isn't worth a hill of beans. but will stress you out. Only sure thing is letter in the mailbox.

I am sure your noa2 is ready, they just don’t update system. That’s why I asked my fiancé to call them, cause my patience is on the edge 😂

The same thing happened to me.  My status still shows as received online and on the app, but I was approved the same day I got the mystery alert.  I found out by calling USCIS the next morning.  Hopefully the same will be true for you! - Jason
