Hi everyone! Me again. I’m happy for everyone who got their approvals and for the aug 7 filer that has recently got at least an rfe if I’m not mistaken. That’s still very good news, your application been touched. Ours still have no reply. We’re aug 21 filer. Have had arguments wether to call or not. He said we shouldn’t because he said he might lose temper over the phone and mess everything up. So we’re just still waiting 😬

You can start doing your DS-160. When you get your case number you can submit it. Also start gathering all your documents for the interview.

With your case number you can track the case and once it says in transit the NVC will send you an email. With that email, now you can book your VAC and your interview. And you also can go to your medical. ( medical need to be done atleast a week or 8 days prior to Interview) (or 5-6 business days). Then you can do your VAC and interview.

ive heard that they don’t ask for it. But it’s better to have just in case. You never know. I will be bringing it just in case.

Thanks @Elix3 that help me. i goint to wait until the NVC tell me de Numbers.

NOA1: 24th August

The number of RFEs being sent out is amazing!  Nearly 1/2 of all the applications are receiving one.  I was really diligent about putting together our application, but now I wonder if I wasn't diligent enough!  I hope I will have my answer soon.  Thanks @Naes. - Jason

I don't think all these RFEs are our fault. They are sending things people sent. Now if every single person is not lying and I don't think they are, there is a definite "Oops I lost that evidence" and "Hmm my RFE quota is not enough for the week"

the ratio is 7 out of 10 people get RFE's , its even in some news reports now. Its all due to the new set of guidelines sent to USCIS. Which pi$$es  me off because if you send/meet the 129f petition requirements then they should approve and forgo those guidelines as they are not released to the public. which is a crock of sh!t.

Most of those RFE's are sent to people who didn't use a lawyer, I said MOST. some used a lawyer and got a RFE but the amount of RFE'S to people that didn't compared to others that did is MUCH higher.

I'm glad I didn't get one, now waiting for NVC to say "ready" then we set the interview date then get on with our lives

The ironic thing is that under the previous administration there were reports of internal memos at USCIS telling their people to reduce the number of unnecessary RFEs because it just caused government waste.  They were finding a large percentage of RFEs were for evidence that was already submitted; and that in many cases the petitioner simply resent the same evidence and was then approved.  Which obviously would be a waste of the government's time and money.

The difference is, we're seeing and hearing that things are very different under the current administration.  If it's quotas or new guidelines that we are unaware of, who knows.  But the RFE numbers are certainly increasing.

Has anyone called the NVC and gotten a case number? I just called and a woman said that they received our information 3 days ago but said she could

not give me a case number yet. Oh, and they are not the friendliest of people. :(
