So our official received date at the California center was 8/9/2017. Yhree months now and I have not received any other news. Any recommendations to speed this process? Why is this taking so long, I heard of cases where 3 months in and your fiancé would be here. How much longer is this going to take?

This is the 1 million question which I doubt anyone will answer 100%. USCIS is completely backlogged and they are trying to keep up with the amount if petitions.

The process for K-1 is long, I think now the processing time for receive NOA2 is 5 or 6 months, then you have good time, . There are many cases and Uscis is delayed.

I hope you receive good news soon

Regards all   :)

I know exactly how you feel.  My received date from CSC is August 10, 2017.  I would agree with @I&A2017  as far as the receive date of the NOA2, about 5- 6 months.  It's stressful, and all of us here that are waiting are  hoping for something soon.

Most people are seeing it take 160 - 170 days to get their I-129f approved, then another two months before the visa itself.

I'm also an August filer (two days before your NOA1).

Based on current processing, we are expecting the NOA2 in Jan/Feb. Then a few months more for the NVC and embassy processes.

Feel free to join us in the August filers group. There is lots of great information available.

There have been random cases in the past that were expedited for unknown reasons or blanket humanitarian ones after a natural disaster, but even with those, 3 months was pushing it.   You will not be so lucky as to have such a fast processing time.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

We're coming up on 6 months. May 30 filer. You should count on at least another 3 months. If it comes earlier it will be a pleasant surprise.
