Two to three weeks max I would say.

8/14/17 --- AOS sent I-485, I-765, I-131

8/16/17 --- AOS Packet received Chicago USCIS Day 0

8/21/17  --- Received email & text notification 

8/23/17  --- Received hard copy of NOA  

9/01/17  --- Biometrics letter notice for I-485 & I-765 & I-131  

9/11/17  --- Biometrics Appointment Done

10/17/17 - Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview

11/30/2017 - EAD/AP Approved
12/01/2017 - Card in Production
12/05/2017 - Received Approval Notice in the Mail
12/06//2017 - Card Mailed (Priority Mail) to Me
12/07/2017 - Card Received 

1/19/18  --- Interview Date 2/21

2/21/18  ---  Approved on the Spot

  • 1 hour after the interview received uscis mobile app alert
  • Status changed from "Interview is scheduled" to "New Card Is Being Produced

2/26/18  --- Received hard copy of NOA for the Green Card

2/26/18  --- USCIS Mobile Status changed to "Card was mailed to me"

2/28/18 --- Permanent Resident/Green Card received :jest:

Received this i-797 approval today. And just got a notification saying that my green card has been mailed today. Super relieved.

I got that notice on June 1, and on June 5 they updated to say they mailed the card - so it shouldn't be long for you!!

I got my EAD approved last Friday and just got it in the mail. So 3 work days later :)

My NOA1 was 140 days ago.

Nice I hope my wife gets her's soon at 120 days AP today. Only thing AP is ahead of the EAD its @83 days is it possible to receive AP before EAD? Reason I ask was because I got a RFE for outdated form and it reset the clock on me for Work permit :(

Hi all. So nice to see all the approvals and interview dates. :)

 

I just finished a stage 2 phone interview this morning for an inbound call centre. :) The guy interviewing me musta liked what he heard because he said he was putting me forward to the last stage which is an in person interview. I should have that in the next two weeks. I sure hope this pans out because I need a job. lol I just sent off the consent to have them do a background check. HA I feel like our lives as visa entrants is all background checks all the time. The guy actually laughed and said I bet you pass the check because you already had one to get into the USA right. I said mmmhmm and going through it again now with them. My husband works for this company and really likes his job. They have decent benefits and pay. :)

I had my interview today. Well, in general everything went ok, but the woman interviewing us was so non emotional so we do not know if she was happy with what we gave her or not. She said she will review the case and we will receive reply (confirmation/request for additional evidence) by mail.

Hopefully everything will be ok!

Fingers crossed for you guys! I'm sure everything will be fine, but I won't congratulate you just yet, let's wait for the official approval:)
