Anyone think it strange that jungle boy, who brought 200 lbs of anti-germ products with him, including condoms to protect his junk when he goes swimming, got into bed in his dirty boots and the clothes he's sweated up and down the Amazon in?

Yes!!! I'd imagine he wasn't smelling so fresh at that point!

In South America, one can end up smelling unfresh in a hurry, believe it.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

What I don't understand about Paul (ok, one of a dozen things I don't understand about Paul) is that he managed 3 flights and a boat ride all by himself. He couldn't manage a taxi/truck/whatever to the hotel to leave his things and take a shower before meeting this woman and her family and also not be dragging around 4 footlockers worth of stuff (how much do we want to bet that her entire family's worldly possessions could fit in there?). So so odd.

Marriage/ AOS Timeline:

23 Dec 2015: Legal marriage

23 Jan 2016: Wedding!

23 Jan 2016: "Blizzard of the Century", wedding canceled/rescheduled (thank goodness we were legally married first or we'd have had a big problem!) :sleepy:

24 Jan 2016: Small "civil ceremony" with friends and family who were snowed in with us. December was a bit of a secret and people had traveled internationally and knew we *had* to get married that weekend, and our December legal marriage was nothing but signing a piece of paper at our priest's kitchen table, without any sort of vows etc so this was actually a very special (if not legally significant) day. (L)

16 Apr 2016: Filed for AOS and EAD/AP (We delayed a bit-- no big rush, enjoying the USCIS break)

23 Apr 2016: Wedding! Finally! :luv:

27 Apr 2016: Electronic NOA1 for all 3 :dancing:
29 Apr 2016: NOA1 Hardcopy for all 3
29 Jul 2016: Online service request for late EAD (Day 104)
29 Jul 2016: EAD/AP Approved ~3 hours after online service request
04 Aug 2016: RFE for Green Card (requested medicals/ vaccination record. They already have it). :ranting:
05 Aug 2016: EAD/AP Combo Card arrived! (Day 111)
08 Aug 2016: Congressional constituent request to get guidance on the RFE. Hoping they see they have the form and approve!

K-1 Visa Timeline:

PLEASE NOTE. This timeline was during the period of time when TSC was working on I-129fs and had a huge backlog. The average processing time was 210+ days. This is in no way predictive of your own timeline if you filed during or after April 2015, unless CSC develops a backlog. A backlog is anything above the 5-month goal time listed on USCIS's site

14 Feb 2015: Mailed I-129f to Dallas Lockbox. (L) (Most expensive Valentine's card I've ever sent!)

17 Feb 2015: NOA1 "Received Date"
19 Feb 2015: NOA1 Notice Date
08 Aug 2015: NOA2 email! :luv: (173 days from NOA1)

17 Aug 2015: Sent to NVC

?? Aug 2015: Arrived at NVC

25 Aug 2015: NVC Case # Assigned

31 Aug 2015: Left NVC for Consulate in San Jose

09 Sep 2015: Consulate received :dancing: (32 days from NOA2)

11 Sep 2015: Packet 3 emailed from embassy to me, the petitioner (34 days from NOA2).

18 Sep 2015: Medicals complete

21 Sep 2015: Packet 3 complete, my boss puts a temporary moratorium on all time off due to work emergency :clock:

02 Oct 2015: Work emergency clears up, interview scheduled (soonest available was 5 business days away--Columbus Day was in there)

13 Oct 2015: Interview

13 Oct 2015: VISA APPROVED  (236 days from NOA1)

19 Oct 2015: Visa-in-hand

24 Oct 2015: POE !

15 Dec 2015: Fiance's mother's B-2 visa interview: APPROVED! So happy she will be at the wedding!

Is anyone else amazed that these people live in remote parts of the world, 3 days by boat from the nearest city, with no utilities and no money yet they have superb wifi and phone coverage (and can keep their phones charged 24/7).

I'm in the mountains of western Washington and we have phone signal for about an hour a day if we are lucky and the wifi regularly cuts out. We are 30 minutes by road to the nearest city, not 3 days by boat. I find it odd that they can find dating sites and apps on the internet but have never heard of chocolate chip cookies before.

Not me..  I lived in a remote jungle in Indonesia for a few years collecting my dissertation data and our best service was in the heart of the jungle.

Karine is finding out Jungle boy is OCD and neurotic. She even said she doesn't like this side of him. So Karine says let's go swimming, the look on Paul's face, I thought he was going to vomit. He goes and puts on his condom so the fish don't swim up his pp, some parachute looking pants and a life jacket. He was flopping around in the water like he was drowning. Karine splashed him and he is spitting water saying poo poo water over and over  I really think he has mental issues. He isn't even trying to learn her language, and talking to her father with hand gestures and his translator, the father must think this American is unhinged. So he's convinced Karine to take the STD and pregnancy test, she wasn't happy that he doesn't trust her. I actually think he's a momma's boy and 34yr old virgin. If I were Karine, I'd run in the other direction.

So the new man Patrick was getting ready to go to Paris to meet his lady, they both have kept secrets, his being his child, which his baby momma says well she will have to deal with me if she tries to come between you and the child. The lady also has a secret she tells the camera at the end of the show.

Sean and Abby, so boring. Sean went to meet Abby's family. They are worried he is there for the wrong reasons, they probably think he's another Chris, her sugar daddy from the DR. Sean is more into Abby then vice versa. I don't see them lasting.

No Jesse or Darcey this week.

Teaser at the end of the show, shows us the naive blonde from Orlando is in Spain, and guess what?!? She was stood up, he never showed up.

A new man named Larry who's a manager at McDonald's has 2 children, but 2 months ago says he found the love of his life. Jenny who's 24 and from the Philippines. His oldest son is 18. He told the kids about her and showed them the ring he's going to propose to her with lol This is going to be another disaster, Larry is so needy and desperate. He's kind of nerdy and odd, but he's better then Jungle boy.

Jungle boy is insane.  Kerine will agree to marry him because she knows it will mean a better life for her and her family.  But hopefully once she gets her GC she'll split.  I wouldn't blame her for doing any of those things.  Kerine's dad is the only one who is looking crazy at jungle boy.  The mom is thrilled that her baby is going to get married, the dad is all "we're proud Amazonians, etc"  Kerine is embarrassed to be around jungle boy.

I think Patrick's girlfriend does know about his child.  What they're pointing to is that perhaps her family doesn't know about him at all.  When they met it was super awkward.  And why was he not wearing a shirt?  *sigh*

Sean grosses me OUT!  Ugh!  I have to close my eyes during the show.  The way he looks at Abby is SO.CREEPY.  My husband said "can she look happy for even one second?" :jest:

New guy with Philippines girlfriend, he seems crazy.  It's funny how almost always the kids have more sense than their parents!

I watched the marathon for 90 days fiance yesterday and I'm finally able to watch the current episode of this before 90 days fiance show. Cortney was stood up in the airport and had to wander to the city to find the cathedral to meet Antonio. It seems like she was being catfished.

Spoiler

NEWSFLASH: Antonio is a real person! He actually showed up. He made her wait for 2 hours though and now they are heading to a beauty pageant where he is working as a jury. Cortney wanted to take a shower after 2 days of traveling but Antonio is like "No need, you're beautiful." Cortney seems swooned over him.

The "Dutch bluntness" seems to be getting under Darcey's skin. Everybody is pointing out the age difference between Darcey and Jesse. Darcey isn't getting the cue that Jesse wants to take it slow. Darcey is all about marriage and kids. She said she doesn't want to pressure Jesse to proposing to her, but she is doing it.

Abby and Sean went to a voodoo priestess because Abby got rashes all over her body. The voodoo priestess said she got the rash from somewhere else. Abby confirmed that she got it from DR, and the ex-bf turned "friend" CHRIS HAS THE SAME RASH TOO. What were they doing and how did they get those rashes?? Sean should have walked away right then and there. Abby says again for the nth time that she doesn't wanna have to choose between Sean and Chris. Girl, you can't have the best of both worlds!

Larry met up with a cousin who has a Filipino wife. The cousin and his wife checked out the gf's FB and she is talking to a lot of different guys all over the world and flirtatious with them too. They are advising him to be careful with his gf and that he should take time to get to know her more before investing more in the relationship.  How about Larry already said he touched his 401k money and that he's planning to propose to her when he visits. The Filipino wife's reaction was epic.

Spoiler

Antonio is a mess.  His friend is so right, he definitely seems like a playboy.  I think Cortney flew across the Atlantic for a booty call.

I think Darcy is putting up with the "bluntness" pretty well.  I mean she's constantly defending her relationship with Jesse and Jesse says nothing at all.  Even Jesse's friend was like "she seems so nice" but couldn't get over the age gap.  If Darcy just took a chill pill on the marriage aspect I think Jesse's friends and family would have less to talk about.  Instead of saying "yeah when we get married" she should be saying "we really love each other and are taking it day by day" perhaps planning some future visits where Jesse eases into the life of a stepdad.

I totally agree with you on this. Jesse seems taken aback by Darcey's marriage insistence. Darcey's desperate and everyone can see it.

Sorry about not posting any updates, but I was away for about 10 days, and stuck in South America an extra couple of days due to the Hurricane.

Mosquito boy is a star.  His swimming protection suit looked like a huge body condom (apart from the condom he already put on). As he was coming out of the water and his suit shifted in the water, his feet around his knees and he had trouble coming out of the water.  Funny.  Karine is way hotter than I originally thought.  No way she will stay with him once she gets her GC.

The blonde that went to Spain is in love while the guy wants a booty call.  He was surprised that she actually came, even his friend said she was "crazy, maybe stupid" for traveling such a long way to meet somebody that she has never talked to or seen.  She seems desperate.

Darcy is driving him away I think.  He hasn't said it but I think it's coming that her constant marriage "hints" are annoying him.  I think it's coming soon.

The black guy going to France has a surprise waiting for him.  I don't know why but I think she used to be a man.  That's the secret that she'll reveal to him.  I think he'll stay with her anyway.

This new guy who works at McD's is the most desperate that we've seen yet, although Darcy is not too far behind him.  This guy has known her for a couple of weeks, or is it couple of months?, and is completely "in love" with this scammer.  Even his kids can see it but he's blinded.  He cashed out his 401k to pay for his trip there and to buy her a ring.  This girl is still active on the dating site they met on.  He called her in the middle of the night to ask why and she said that her phone accidentally logged her in.  And he was like "ok."  This fool will believe anything.  LOL

I am guessing she has a kid too.  He has one he hasn't told her about, and it would just be interesting to see how they react to eachother having kept the same secret.  Mind, I've no idea how you can NOT tell someone you are serious about you have a kid, but, that makes for good TV.

Well if she has a kid then good chance not a man before. LOL

My theory is that Miriam (French girl with a secret) is in a relationship with someone already. Maybe even married? This is the first time we have had Europeans on the show and there is a definite shift in attitude. In the past it's been people from poorer countries, clearly desperate to get out and find a better life elsewhere (Mohammed, Nikki, Alla, to name a few). But the three Europeans in this series all seem very blasé about a future with their respective loves. Almost as if they don't even know that the show is called "90 day fiancé" with Americans "hoping for a marriage proposal". Jesse is having a good time with Darcy, I think. But he's nowhere near ready for marriage with her. He's just enjoying the moment. Like most 24-year-old men would. Antonio couldn't even take time off work to get Courtney from the airport and then went back to work before she even had chance to shower and change out of the clothes she spent all night traveling in. He seemed surprised she even arrived. Likewise Miriam didn't even dress nicely for Patrick's arrival (I think even Danielle had her hair done before she went to see Mo in Qatar) and admitted that she didn't think he'd actually come. I think he's just an online flirt for her and she's in a relationship with someone else and possibly said to him "why don't you come here" as part of the flirt and never actually meant it or never thought he'd take it seriously. There was almost a look of panic on her face when she recounted the time he said he was coming to France and her reply to him was "eeerrrr.... oh....erm...okaaaaayyyyy...." almost like she was saying to herself "now what do I do? How to I get out of this?"

I saw the trailer for the new series and not one of these couples is in it. Are we to assume that none of them makes it to the stage of filing?
