I can't find anything on this new service center other than the same snippet you listed. i wonder if they really are open and taking transferred cases yet or if they are still hiring and training.

Anyone else noticed that the Immigration Timeline that was shown on VJ yesterday for NSC was May 15, 2015 and today it's back to May 13, 2015? Going backwards is not what we're looking for! :crying:

case transfer to a new service center called-Potomac service center (PSC) which is the 5th service center recently added.

“The Potomac Service Center (PSC) will process applications and petitions to help balance workloads and add capacity. The agency’s existing service centers in Texas, Nebraska, California, and Vermont are operating at maximum capacity,” A USCIS spokesperson said in a statement to Breitbart News.

USCIS anticipates that PSC will begin processing “workloads” by August and is already hiring for the new PSC location.

Can't locate the processing dates for this service center, any one who have any idea?

There are no processing dates it is yet to start processing. Here's a brief summary of the meeting in June that talks abit about it. It would be well over a year before processing happens. Oh this so reminds me of the failed Service center of just 2 years ago in Overland, Kansas. What a mess that some still have not recovered from.

I just got an email today from USCIS saying: Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS Nebraska Service Center for processing.

I guess I'm at the Nebraska Service Center too. I'm hoping for a speedy process!

My bad goodness didn't want to freak folk out. I meant to say "It would be over a year before processing times probably are posted". Sorry didn't mean to say,

"It would be well over a year before processing happens".

Could be those that background checks didn't come back. I know some in July were transferred. I know none with dates between 4 and 5 months NOA1. So alt of recent cases

Did you file an I-129F after you filed the I-130? I'm wondering if they only transferred the stand alone I-130 petitions. I filed both petitions and I didn't get transferred either.

1/18/2016 paid aos fee

1/28/2016 review 261 to get iv fee unlocked ( unlocked once I did review,was taking to long)

2/1/ 2016 sent AOS & IV packets together to nvc while I waited for iv fee to open to save time.

2/4/2016 paid IV Fee and waited to do ds260

2/3/2016 nvc received aos and iv packets(scan date)

2/7/2016 ds260 completed and now waiting for cc

I'm starting to freak out... a lot of the July filers are getting sent to the new service center and I'm an August filer... Just the fact that the new one doesn't have processing dates posted is making me anxious... I wonder if many of the August filers will be routed as well. :huh2:

At a few government agencies here in New York, you will receive a number (EX: #1029) only to hear the rep come out and call #1047. Then you find out that EACH rep is given a certain amount of cases and different reps work at different speeds or could move faster or slower based on, perhaps, a case that might require more time with it. This is why the way they call numbers is not in any kind of order. Does USCIS work the same way? I ask because I see no numerical consistency in how cases are completed/approved. I see the dates all over the place. In fact, based on the VJ update, they are now working on dates in the 20s of May 2015 or even LATER. Our NOA1 was on May 8th and I've seen people BEFORE and AFTER receiving NOA2's from the Nebraska Service Center. We have received correspondence from them (one to tell us they made requested name change and another to return original documents which tells us, SOMEONE IS LOOKING AT OUR CASE!) but NO RFE which they would have done by now based on the fact that they communicated with us already.

It's been 12 days since the last possible date we should have heard from them about an approval.

Oh, on another note, when they sent us back our original copies on October 19th, they checked off a box that said:

"If you have yet to receive your approval notice, please allow TWENTY to THIRTY days to receive it."

It takes them THAT long to review a 3 page application and make a decision?

DEC 18 2015: DS261 Completed Online
DEC 18 2015: AOS Fee Paid Online
