Heey dont worry. I'm sure everything will be fine. I am only in the beginning of the process, and I dont know much about the medical, but it sounds to me like smoking weed FOUR years ago shouldn't be a big deal at all. If this results in a denial or a one year ban that would just be ridiculous

Please let us know how this turns out

I'm the beneficiary.

It used to be 3 years, now 1 year.

They can not test for it after that length of period.

I seem to remember being asked about how much alcohol I drank. I have seen people referred for answering that one!.

Seriously? You're annoyed at him for telling the TRUTH instead of being just another person who lies? Yes, you will need to wait longer but you shouldn't be angry with him for telling the truth! He is SUPPOSED to tell the truth!

Jesus. I know you're upset right now but you're being very nasty to him. I'm sure he's upset too, but you should be proud he is a trustworthy person.

It WILL be okay. He isn't locked out of the country. You will still be together eventually. Focus on the positives.

When people are under pressure, they can't help but tell the truth. I'm very sorry you're going through this but is it really worth leaving him just because he admitted to smoking weed? Come on! Then you obviously don't love him.

It's your call on what to do now.

If he was asked the actual question 'Have you smoked weed?' and then 'When was the last time?', then he had absolutely no choice but to tell the truth. He should not lie and you should not be so hard on him.

Corinthians 13:4-8

However, if he volunteered the information, then I can understand your annoyance.

Seems it's our luck it's been a hard time this journey..It was so close I am in disbelief and so disappointed in him. He feel terrible as he should I can't help but be hard on him that was so foolish..I need a supernatural miracle Lord only you have the power..

devastated :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

Your God would praise your husband for "thou shall not lie.". Be happy you've married a man who tells the truth, and nothing but the truth, when being sworn in to do just that. Bravo to him.

divorce him. so late in the process and he pulls a stunt like this????

Feel very sorry for you. Yes, your husband made a big mistake and now probably you both will have to pay for it by being separated for 1 more year. Who does care that he smoked 4 years ago? No one test would show anything and it was a long time ago. Hope he still will not be banned since it was such a long time.
