I just had my medical this week, and because I am so curious I asked my doctor what do they test exactly....he told me that since Obama administration, they just care about tuberculosis and blood test for syphilis...not even drug tests, or HIV. I don't think the doctor will make a point on that, but that is my personal conclusion since what they only care now is about those two things (tuberculosis and syphilis).

Don't be too hard on him, this process is so hard and sometimes anxiouness take control on us!

Good luck :)

not true... trust me. had to learn the hard way... LOL

Well i think in between murder and smoking weed there is a line. Instead of what you may think i have moral and there are lines i wont cross such as murder, cheating etc... but i won't blame anybody for trying weed and not wanting to talk about it at a medical for an interview for a US visa.

Not talking about it or lying to a direct question when you honestly know you are lying?

Finished!

If I had decided to hurt myself by smoking weed or not buckling my seatbelt, and that had no more importance in my life, then i don't see the purpose of ruining my future because of it. Nobody is perfect,

Yes because the consequences of saying something with no more importance (for the 100000th times) and that is not meant to happen anymore, are way too important!

not true... trust me. had to learn the hard way... LOL

What happened to you? Why did you get a denial?

I would consult a lawyer at this point. Perhaps your husband misunderstood the question because his English is not perfect? Since nothing should show up on the medical report, it could've been an honest mistake or miscommunication. I wouldn't give up hope just yet. This is a nation of (imperfect) laws, and the only thing that really matters in court, is what you can/cannot prove.

Lola, you will find in the US people are much more honest than in France. Lying doesn't get you anywhere here. Welcome to America.

(I am a French historian and have been to France many many times, so my comments are not based on "prejudice".)

Now you must be smoking!

I did not inhale?

Just follow the news media, which I must admit is probably much better in France.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Sort of.

But they also like the ganja so not unheard of to check for such things at the medical.

I am really sorry to hear that you got into this situation and I feel how devastated you are. I know you have been looking forward to the day that he will be with you and on your mind it was soon... but something like this happened... For sure he feels awful for causing this trouble but I look up to him for telling the truth! like you said in your earlier post that the doctor kept asking him about it and he just did the right thing... Answered him with all honesty... For sure if he lied the doctor might caught him that he was lying... In what way? Doctors know when people do lie. Guess there are studies that shows how people tend to act or react when they lie. Usually when people lie they can't look at the other person eye to eye and for sure the doctor will notice that... I guess the doctor too would really kept asking him since I guess most men in Jamaica really tried smoking weed so they have that doubt in them already.

Just keep the faith and everything will pass... whatever is the outcome of this situation, keep loving each other and may it help to keep your relationship stronger...

Nothing to do with the case?

You might want to reread the certification of the form I-693 that you signed.

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-693.pdf

I still think, nothing to do with the case, long time ago, nothing with present. DO what you want and i think what i want. damn freedom of thinking

Whether you think it has anything to do with the case is irrelevant, its whether immigration do!
