aleful got a reaction from PositivePower in I-130 Form Expiration
hi
if the official page has no other one, then that's the one they accept
-
aleful got a reaction from Diex18 in Petition siblings, what to do
hi
depending on the country of origin, anywhere from 14 to over 20 years
if you are a USC, you can file for them and then forget about the petition, because it will take a very long time,

aleful got a reaction from duitta2g15 in Spouse Caught Cheating After Filing N400
hi
as said you have 2 choices, or withdraw your application and wait until you have been a gc holder for 5 years, or you wait until you become a USC after you have taken your oath and have your certificate of citizenship

aleful got a reaction from NancyNguyen in Quickest Visa
hi
sorry, there is no quickest way, it takes years, there are others ahead in line
file and wait years, depending on the type of petition and country of origin

hi
you don't need to send anything, cancel the petition

aleful got a reaction from Unlockable in Parents Petition
hi
exactly, you can't file for your stepmom, the marriage had to take place as a minor, before you turned 18
you can file for your dad, when he comes, he can file for his wife, which would take over 2 years of waiting
so, the question is, does your dad want to permanently live here and be separated from his wife for over 2 years?
his petition will take over a year for him to come
the best thing I believe due to their age, is for them to get a tourist visa and visit

and why would she come without her husband?

aleful got a reaction from mushroomspore in Leave US before receiving advance parole document
hi
why bother then, you shouldn't have applied if you didn't wish to live in the US
the green card is for living in the US and residency is considered abandoned after a year of not living here
apply again when you decide to permanently live in the US
-
aleful got a reaction from Visitor User in Overstay 1 year vs 10-20-25 years
hi
time doesn't matter, plus anyone who qualifies under the 245i, has lived in the us for over 15 years, since the 245i law ended on April 30th, 2001
-
aleful got a reaction from Visitor User in Overstay 1 year vs 10-20-25 years
hi
then who is the beneficiary?
if it an immediate relative such as a parent or child of a USC, and entered legally, there is no need for the 245i law
we need more information about the case
-
aleful got a reaction from Visitor User in Overstay 1 year vs 10-20-25 years
hi
no, it doesn't matter as long as they entered legally in the US and hasn't been deported
this is for a spousal visa, right?

aleful got a reaction from GVANESSA233 in If the beneficiary currently lives in the us, what do I put on the question 47 Your beneficiary currently physical address abroad?
hi
e
why leave, you can marry and file for adjustment of status
if you leave, you will have a 10 year ban unless you have been in the country legally all this time
if you have been illegally in the country, you will have to file a waiver and your boyfriend will have to do the hardship letter
plus it doesn't make sense, the k1 is to enter the country to get married and adjust status, so what's the difference?
he will have to pay for you to enter the country, and pay again for the adjustment of status, either way you have to file for adjustment of status to get the green card,
you are already here, no need to file the k1 to enter the country
your husband will have to file for adjustment of status regardless

aleful got a reaction from Victoriarose in Submitted I130 together with I864 ( july filer)
hi
yes, you weren't suppose to send the i864 with the i130, the i130 is sent to a USCIS service center
the i864 and the other forms, payments and documents are sent to the NVC, two different centers
first you have to pay the $120 for the affidavit of support, then send it to where the nvc indicates it on the steps you have to take, along with the financial evidence
you will have to send it again when the time comes
