  1. Ok....no timeline, so it was a bit confusing...at least. But again, the fact that you are a naturalized citizen, unfortunately has no impact on the 10 year ban that happened because he overstayed his visa🤷‍♀️ those are the rules and they get enforced. Sorry for the situation, it's really unfortunate 😕
  2. Updating your timeline would clarify things- your previous posts only mentioned you're a LPR🤷‍♀️but anyways, even as a citizen, you won't be able to shorten the ban for your dad who overstayed and due to that got a 10 year ban, unfortunately.
  3. You are far away from being a citizen- you are a lawful permanent resident/ greencard holder
  4. Maybe that's why he wasn't let in....slippery floor....wax.....all kind of things could happen 🤣🤣😉
  5. Awesome 👌 happy birthday 🎂 best gift ever! And good luck!! Keep us posted how it goes!
  6. Just file I-751 the day your 90 day window opens- you'll get the NOA / extension within a couple of weeks and are safe.
  7. I did add joint credit card account statement, proof of adding my wife to benefits ( life insurance, vision, FSA) in addition to the stuff they got already for the I-751.
  8. Just curious: you're on a f1/ student visa, right? Are you considering to stay in the US?
  9. Yeah you're right- if there would be a guarantee that it works, I would submit again, too....I submitted last year in may😤
  10. It's fine if you're listed as having permission. You said, no joint bank accounts- just highlight on the bankstatement the utilities- coming either from your or your partners acc.they should show same adress so that's good proof, too.
  11. I got one a while ago, too - also California. Go on the webpage that's on the notice- and give answer the question about being a citizen with NO and therefore not eligible. They use dmv data, they don't know about your citizenship.
  12. Absolutely....lots of trees fall for uscis applications- but it is what it is
  13. I booked a round trip , exactly cause of the price difference- I just didn't board the flight back or even requested a refund. No issues at all.
  14. Of course it was worth it! All the best for your interview!😃👍🍀
  15. Yeah sucks, I'm german too, but when I moved to California I was able to get driver's license immediately- they have a provision for that. But every state is different unfortunately 😕
  16. I submitted double sided copies too, with every application- was never an issue
  17. That's what I said - just advise, help- not judging. If someone does judge, ignore it- don't get into arguments.
  18. Not everyone is completely comfortable to just rely on their own legwork and ask for advise in this forum- that's what it is for. And fortunately there are lots of people able and willing to help , not to judge. So I think, that's exactly what you're doing- asking for clarification, advise. And you will get that- just don't react to criticism.
  19. I-693 is the form for the medical.you need to look up for the area you live, which civil surgeon is approved to do those exams for uscis- on uscis webpage is a search option for that. You might need several appointments, if you need several vaccination for example. I submitted all forms I-130.485 and I-765 work authorization and medical together by mail including all the required evidence/ documents.
  20. I left one- because I was over 40 years , too when I finally found " the one"- not because of your/ your friends situation
