  1. It also depends on how many N400 interviews are happening that day at that office- in my case,I had oath ceremony after 2 hours with ~10 others outside the office in the garden area of the office.
  2. I was able to choose during the interview, yes. So I skipped the name-change and took the oath 2 hours after my interview
  3. With the name change request, you won't have same day oath ceremony bc it has to be approved by a judge.I wanted to do so,too but at the interview the officer said: either same day oath without name change,or wait months ( in my case) and take oath AFTER the name change🤷‍♀️I wanted to be done- so I skipped the name change and had same day oath ceremony 😊
  4. Ok....well,it doesn't apply to me- unfortunately I got naturalized BEFORE Germany changed law last year- now you automatically keep your german citizenship. I lost mine automatically in 2023 bc I didn't meet the requirements for the so-called "Beibehaltung"🤷‍♀️
  5. No,I wouldn't. Why should I? Only advantage, if you might call it advantage, is: the line at customs for European passport holders might be shorter....🤷‍♀️ just my personal opinion
  6. You need to book your ticket with your us passport and show the us passport at the airport and at customs in Germany-so,no need to worry about the maiden name in your German passport😉
  7. Safe the money for a lawyer, you'll be just fine filing yourself! Almost done with everything 🙌 Good luck!
  8. Every interview is different, but st mine - the officer didn't want a single piece of anything 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️
  9. Ok- don't look for info allover the place- look on the official USCIS website- everything you need is explained and clear, straightforward. Of course, any questions adress right here, but please don't rely on some other websites. Better safe than sorry😉
  10. It starts from getting the greencard
  11. Often they do same day oath ceremony. In my case,I took the oath 2 hours after my interview
  12. You could still provide the bills aboutrent, internet, insurance etc and mark those on the bankstatements incl a short letter explaining the fact about splitting responsibilities- that's what I did and it was more than sufficient
  13. It's way more inconvenient to be asked for it- and not being able to show it,don't you think?🤔
  14. He doesn't have policies, a plan...just a concept of a plan about someshit,basically- he says he wants to "do" a lot....but,he can't just do about anything without congress etc.....
  15. Good luck for your interview!👍😉
