  4. You had at the end a great outcome, after this horrible situation, that's all that matters!
  5. Apparently, he did not🤷‍♀️ you would think, anyone would do that and be better prepared.
  6. Well, then it makes sense.. that was just stupid,to do that.should have just shipped/ send that kind of stuff and travel with " normal" touristy things🤷‍♀️
  7. But why did they get suspicious in the first place? Did she bring more than the usual amount of luggage? Or did she tell,i visit my fiance? Then of course, it might raise some flags🤔
  8. Ah,ok.yes, when you got the update online your NOA should be on it's way already.
  9. 🤔 you don't know where it was transferred to? Good luck, any movement is great 👍 did you already get anything about biometrics?
  10. Then you should be fine 🙂 cause ,If not,you would've gotten everything back ,for filing at the wrong address. Nothing to worry about😉
  11. They might have changed adress, cause they are adding more lockbox facilities to get the backlog down.just yesterday I got an email about updated lockbox locations👍another sign, that uscis really is trying hard,to get everything done faster!
  12. Wow,really? Ok,that's how YOU look at it,that's fine.I. and obviously others have a different opinion on that topic. You go ahead and write your letter.....and,just a little advise, let someone look over it before you send it ,so it's in correct english😉just a thought....And btw, what the heck has inflation and gas prices ti to with all that??
  13. Writing a letter,to whom ever, doesn't undo the backlog that was created long ago under the previous government USCIS has already done a lot to improve the situation, as everyone can read , if you opt-in into getting news updates from USCIS. They still had to extend the extension letter validity to 24 month, but that doesn't necessarily mean, it'll take that long for everybody.Be patient, and write or inquire about being outside normal processing time after 24 month. Just my opinion 🤷‍♀️
  14. There are few cases,of ppl having a long-distance relationship to a us citizen, coming over for visits for years and at some point during a visit, spontaneously decide to get married- then you can stay and adjust status- but those are rare cases .
  15. https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/more-info. That's the website for it
  16. Enjoy your time in France 🇫🇷! And,I wouldn't bet on visa journey timeline estimate- I only look at at the uscis timeline for my field office😉much different!
  17. Oh wow,that's fast.....you submitted end of may,right?
  18. I haven't heard anything yet,but I'm assuming they're going to waive my biometrics and use the ones taken for AOS 2 years ago
  19. Right now,it says 80% of cases are adjudicated in 10 months.....but I think, that's wishful thinking. When I submitted my I-751 on May 15th it was estimated to be done by March 2023- now it's already up to July, sooooooo🤷‍♀️🤔
  20. Yes,it might take a few days to actually charge your card,so don't worry about it😉
