  1. Watch these short clips, and especially the 6-minute interview with the young lady. How refreshing to see genuine interaction. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Girl Who Hugged Trump In Atlanta Is a Treasure Oh, my, gosh - I just want to eat her UP. Donald Trump walked into a Chik-Fil-A in Atlanta Wednesday to order some food (Karen said he'd been in town for a big fundraiser), and one of the most memorable campaign visits anywhere ever just exploded across the screens of the people who weren't so excited the forgot to film it. The girls at the counter were all as giddy as 4th graders, and Trump was in his element. 2. Say, Did You Hear About Hamas' Plan to Enslave the Jews? Did Hamas merely want to kick-start the statehood process with its barbaric rapes and murders on 1200-plus unarmed men, women, and children on October 7? Not according to a report from Haaretz last week. Hamas leaders had launched the attack expecting to trigger a calamitous and overwhelming conquest of Israel. In fact, they had such confidence in their war strategy that they had already divided Israel into cantons, assigned leadership to them, and made plans for its population under a new Islamist regime. 3. All: FYI, it looks like the OP ran into the maximum number of permissible first-day posts for a new member (necessary, given spammers, but frustrating for legitimate members, certainly).
  4. (1.) and (2.) are correct -- but if the CBP agent checking her upon entry doesn't ask, avoid volunteering information. Answer only what is asked. (3.) is inaccurate. The K-1 and CR-1 visas now take approximately the same time, and CR-1 is far superior. Regarding (4.), there are countless threads in which the illegality of "entry with use of Tourist Visa, not leaving, and staying to adjust status" is discussed. Conversely, your plan -- she visits, you marry, she returns before her tourist visa expires, and you file the I-130 toward the CR-1 visa -- is completely fine. Depending on where she's from, multiple visits (she to you, you to her, meet in third country, or all) will help to build evidence for the eventual consular interview for the visa. The above answers are all consequent to years of posts containing the accumulated wisdom and experiences of hundreds of members here.
  5. Brutal critique from within NPR proves it's a leftist-only zone Bashing National Public Radio's leftward bias is a favorite pastime of conservatives, especially since it is funded by taxpayer money, but critics received a boost this week from an unlikely source. Uri Berliner, a 25-year veteran of NPR who is now a senior business editor there, published a lengthy essay this week that was remarkable because it absolutely blasted his employer's approach to journalism. It was such a complete takedown that I found myself marveling, "He wrote this while he still works there?" 6. I may be wrong, but I interpreted the suggestion to mean that you or your current attorney should look for an immigration attorney in the U.S. who is either Korean himself (optimal) or is intimately familiar with Korean documents, and have that attorney write an explanatory letter to explain and confirm that the submitted documents are sufficient to satisfy USCIS's RFE. In this way, you needn't fire your current attorney and start all over; it's simply an additional step -- probably cheaper and certainly faster than filing a motion to reconsider, if you can simply reply again to the current RFE.
  7. The word "Korean" was added to the thread title in hopes of attracting country-specific responses in the regional forum.
  8. Even if they did, two choices remain: 1. By arguing, try to convince them that they're wrong (and risk batting your head against a wall); or 2. Show them, by means of the cited suggestion, that the documents are sufficient. They would chiefly be in the "Asia: East and Pacific" regional forum. However, the volume of specifically knowledgeable replies would probably be minimal. We'll move your thread to that forum; if you get few or no constructive replies, hit "report thread" and request that this thread be moved back to the "AOS from K Visas" Process forum.
  9. Reasoning is above. You may re-create that response without the TOS violations and repost it. ^^ This is probably the most effective way around the hurdle.

  15. Good news, at least until some Fed judge declares it void. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kim Reynolds signs Texas-style immigration law criminalizing 'illegal reentry' into Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds has signed a Texas-style immigration law allowing Iowa officers to arrest undocumented immigrants under a new crime of "illegal reentry" into the state. Reynolds signed Senate File 2340 Wednesday, making it a crime to attempt to enter Iowa after being previously deported or barred from entering the United States. It takes effect July 1. 19. Never saw your dog before -- a magnificent creature!
  20. The above post & reply were split from an old thread in another forum. A duplicate unanswered post was removed from an old thread in yet another forum. Please let the current thread remain the only thread on this topic.
  21. Trump Indicted For Taking More Chick-fil-A Sauces Than He Actually Needed For His Order ATLANTA, GA — What began as a seemingly harmless visit to a local Chick-fil-A turned into a new legal quagmire for former President Donald Trump, as he was indicted today for taking more sauces than he actually needed for his order. The news broke as Trump made headlines for his positive reception at the popular eatery, with customers and employees fawning over him as he ordered his food. A spokesperson for the Department of Justice held a press briefing to announce the indictment. 22. New 'Biden Diet' Sweeps Nation: Pay The Same Amount Of Money But Eat 50% Less Food US — With inflation showing no signs of slowing down, a new diet craze is sweeping across the nation.
