How far? At least three years. Tell your friend and his wife to move the family to the US as he is a permanent resident of the US and not a visitor - love how he lists all his VISITS to the US. Very surprised USCIS hasn't yanked his green card already.
Also taxes - he's taxed on worldwide income (first 90k deducted if earned abroad not in US-gov't employ) so he better get that squared away. With three kids, there could be some refunds too.

You list all names used on the form G-325a along with your last address outside the US, etc. http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/g-325a.pdf They will check all names.

You are required to provide a police certificate for any country that you reside in for more than 6 months after your 16th birthday. So, your background is checked in your home country. The burden is on you to provide the records.

What he wants is to have the wife (YOU) living in your country, so he can come visit you when he feels like it. And he is free to have his mistresses in the US without you knowing or interfering.
This guy sounds like a cheat. And I'm a guy saying this.

You definitely need an immigration attorney. Officially, the child is the product of incest (brother and sister), plus you lied on an official form )birth cert).

Without even asking you any details, I wanna suggest.."RUN AWAY from that girl/man ". That is clearly a SCAM.
Even if she is she and not he, symptoms of SCAM are as follows
    1. She doesnot want to talk to you on skype, shehe doesnot want you to see her face which you would ask for video chat for sure on skype (she is smart and she/he knows that)
    2. B2 does not require medical
    3. Shehe could have asked you to buy the ticket from here and email the e-ticket but she is asking you to send the money, Any way nobody should be buying the ticket before the visa is granted, one should book the flight not buy for visa.
    4. Her willingness to stay with you just after 6 weeks of chat (it is just to lure you to send her the money)
    5. The gorgeous photos: google gorgeous Filipinos and you might find that photo on first page of google. She could have copied from google.
    and other hidden sypmtoms.....
So don't even bother to ask her about her intentions of scamming you. Just block her if you have added her in your frens list or on emails and move on.

Look at this from their point of view. You married him and as soon as you got your green card you left for two years. You didn't return until it was time to remove conditions. Add in the fact that you have left him since the ROC was denied and want a divorce. So from 2010 to now you lived together as man and wife for like two years? You are going to have a really hard time convincing an immigration judge that USCIS erred in their decision. Even with an abuse waiver you still have to prove it was a real marriage and you have failed to do that twice so far.

    Hi,
Hopefully, you realize putting a knife to your wife and threatening to kill her is never acceptable.
    Your criminal lawyer is wrong.
Domestic violence is a crime involving moral turpitude (cimt).
Even with reduced charges and nonguilty verdicts in criminal court, you can have your visa revoked in a civil immigration court. The civil immigration court has a lower burden of proof than a criminal court.
Go talk to a immigration lawyer versed in DV.

JeanneVictoria reacted to Anh map in wife in detention , how can she meet up with affidavit of support document
This screams of immigration fraud. So you will need to prove a long term, solid, bona fide relationship. The petitioner (the US citizen submits the paperwork, not the alien spouse) supplies all the needed documentation. Being incarcerated doesn't relieve her of any requirements. She will be the primary sponsor regardless of income. Not having a current income will mean that they need to find a joint sponsor.
Again, prepare for a high level of scrutiny in your case. Arriving on a tourist visa with the intent to immigrate is against the law. Arriving from Nigeria makes the chore that much more difficult.

I'd be surprised if it didn't at least come up at the interview. Given your heavy presence in the US on nonimmigrant visas in the past 4 years it might give the impression that you are visa shopping to remain in the US at all costs.

Hey, so I think you make some valid points! But there is only a shadow of truth to some of it......
I won't reply line-by-line, because some of what you say is dead-on.
    BUT,
    1. Army veterans do not think they are heroes. The american public thinks they are heroes, and they are right. We are one of the only few countries in the world who are willing to die in another country to fight for someone else's rights
    2. Leads to the next topic of free speech. I fought for my country ( ex -paratrooper ), so that you can talk as beligerantly as you like.... So no, I will not say negative things about you just because you want to say something negative about us....HOWEVER, I think it's important you realize why....
    3. Why we are the greatest country on Earth? Because even though we have a lot of problems in this country. We believe in accountability... We believe in equal rights for all.... and we believe in dying for it so that everyone can have that.
    4. That is very far from "not caring at all"
    5. I think it's important to understand why Americans feel the way they do. Yes, we do have a lot of welfare problems. But, we also have alot of compassionate, intelligent people also.

Uh Oh started it again huh.
Well I could say some of those same things about plenty of other countries around the world. You are generalizing, stereotyping, and lumping every Amercian into the same category. You are very wrong. I know plenty of hardworking, dedicated, never been on government assistance, caring individuals that fight everyday for what they believe in. Government assistance was put in place to help those in need, there may be abusers to the system, but the benefits outway the bad.
As far as #6, yes we are patriotic and anyone who chooses to put their safety and life in jeopardy to fight for others is a hero all day in my book.
    So here are your options:
    1. Leave and go back to your country if you don't like it here.
    2. Do something about it. Instead of making these whining posts go out and do something actively to improve the situation
    Peace

I am against flat birthright citizenship...but it's what we have and people should definitely know that. It leads to the anchor baby scenario. I think you should either have an USC parent or at least one parent that is a legally resident and living in U.S. territory.
