  9. Typically, it’s 6 months from the medical exam.
  10. Congratulations on the petition approval. Keep the copy safe and make a scan of it, you will need to submit it later on during adjustment of status in the US. In a few weeks, contact NVC to find out the NVC case number. Your case will sit at NVC until consulate requests it and when the status says “Ready” on NVC CEAC website, you can proceed with scheduling the interview, etc. You do not submit anything to NVC nor do you create an account. Your case merely is strengthened waiting to be shipped to the consulate.
  11. Tax returns are evidence of past income, not current. Evidence of current income include paystubs and employment letter from HR showing the salary.

  13. The problem with current online USCIS forms is that there are a lot of glitches, some of which have caused delays of a year or more. Due to seeing this, I’m not so opposed to paper.

  15. Is it NOA1 or NOA2? What does the case status say on USCIS?
  16. Non-contributing and off topic posts and the replies to them have been removed. If you want to discuss USCIS stage and the improvement of speed, you’re more than welcome to start a thread on that topic. However, OP asked about why their case is sitting 10 months at the consulate (not USCIS). USCIS is one component where you can deduce averages but the NVC/Consulate stages are consulate specific and have nothing to do with the timeline between NOA1 and NOA2 at USCIS stage. please keep replies relevant to OP’s query of why the case is sitting at the Casablanca consulate for 10 months. 17. I was just confused because you said you have the medical exam DS-2054. Did you mean a copy of the vaccination worksheet form DS-3025? There have been a few cases where people didn’t hand it in the sealed envelope because the CBP officer didn’t ask for it and they were admitted.
  18. Probably not. Nobody can predict that
  19. You have no option but to enter this information now.
  20. *** Thread moved to UK Regional Forum *** “If more than 2 weeks have passed since your petition has been approved and you have not received a letter from the Embassy, please contact us through the contact form.” https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-the-visa/ Keep in mind that UK applicants schedule their own interviews.
  21. Yes, I was also sent this as a copy in my packet 3, although the consulate didn’t ask for it at the interview. I wonder if OP was sent the packet 3 at all Maybe I’m pessimistic but I have very low confidence that USCIS would do this
  22. *** Thread moved from Bringing Family Members of US citizens to America (consular processing) to Adjustment of status (within the US) from work/tourist/student visas — please post any future questions in the appropriate forum section *** Maybe @pushbrk can offer any advice.
