It's a website and it was extremely accurate for my Fiancée and I, I hope so too just try to get through the next few months, I was checking every day, but I noticed when I went a few days without checking it seemed to go by faster, Now my next steps include a little more waiting (for NVC, my Fiancée to have her medical exam, and my fiancée to have her interview) -

Yes I totally understand this! my fiancée and I started out as best friends in 2017! I was 13 and she was 15 turning 16, we started dating October 27, 2022 and got engaged October 23, 2023 but the distance has been so horrible because it’s been so long. We are worried too so we got a lawyer to help with our process, but keep in mind from what I've heard you will be interviewed from a US immigration officer and because same sex marriage is legal in the US, they can't deny your visa due to your sexual orientation. hope this helps! good luck!- 13 replies

Don't be discouraged, my fiancée and I got approved yesterday, NOA1- December 11th 2023 NOA2- April 22nd 2024 I recommend getting track my visa now as its very accurate. Best of luck!

Yeah it just is unfortunate that I have no control over what happens because since I don’t know when this is going to get accepted I most likely will not be able to travel because of not knowing months in advance and requesting time off. but eventually it will get approved so I’m trying to just think of that.

Unfortunately it isn’t this easy for me, I don’t have family members and my only support is my fiancée so it’s hard to just wait. I have to plan when I’m seeing my fiancée many months ahead because of work I was just wondering if the estimated time is accurate. My fiancée cannot enter the United States so I am the only one traveling but due to me working in a hospital it’s very hard to get time off and I have to request months in advance. I am just wondering if the estimated time is usually accurate thanks though!

Hello, I was wondering if the visa journey estimate for approval of the k1 visa is accurate? My Fiancée and I got our NOA1 on December 11th, 2023, Visa journey is stating that between September 9th and 21st 2024 we should receive notification if our k1 visa has been approved, I really don't want to get my hopes up. Did anyone else's NOA2 happen around the same time visa journey expected? Thanks!

I don't think the age should matter as long as it was less than two years elapsed when you file, make sure you also have photos to prove your engagement, would it be possible for you to travel to see your fiancé before filing? -
Hello, I was wondering if there are any other people who applied for their k1 in December 2023, I am hoping we can inform each other of our processes, I was also wondering if the estimate approval here on visa journey is accurate. :)

unfortunately, in Romania you need some type of visa in order to visit in the United States. We applied for a tourist visa and were denied because there were not enough ties to her country, I cannot really travel because of my job being so demanding.
