  1. The letter of intent is pretty clear that that is your fiancé. If you read though official requirements, there’s not a word on engagement photos or rings or engagement proposal photos.
  2. This is the way to go. We put all original evidence such as scans of boarding passes, scans of passport stamps etc on a word doc and put captions. Never send originals to USCIS, photocopies only. Same here. We didn’t even have a ring at that point but if we did, we would not have included that in the packet either.

  7. That’s awesome, congratulations! Which service center was your case at?
  8. I would provide exactly what the RFE is asking for.
  9. Not every consulate sends a copy of it so it depends on the consulate. You would have to contact the consulate.
  10. That sounds correct. Yes, they included a photocopy of my approved I-129f in packet 3.

  12. Consulate sends it to the petitioner or the applicant. They sent it to my email when I went through the process. As I said, it’s time to involve your congressional representatives or the senator. They have an immigration liaison and you’ll have to explain the situation clearly and in detail.
  13. That’s an internal issue. I still don’t understand how you the applicant can be in a possession of an original with approved stamps.
  14. *** Related threads on the topic of pictures merged. Please keep all related questions in one thread *** just do this. It’s easier for them to scan and it’s easier for you to add descriptions. I would focus on other pictures and proof with correct dates.
  15. *** Three related threads merged. Please do not start more than one thread per related topics *** no, that’s not possible. Also not possible. I think it’s time for the USC petitioner to involve his or her congressperson because that request from the consulate doesn’t make any sense. They shouldn’t be asking an applicant for original forms with stamps when they/NVC are the ones who should have it.
  16. Lagos is not better, I would probably say it’s worse. If you look at recent timelines, it’s about a 10 month wait for an interview letter.

  22. *** Thread moved from Process & Procedures to Progress Reports where case updates are discussed *** Not necessarily. Everyone goes through Admin processing, some for short period others for longer. It’s impossible to predict how long it’ll take.
  23. *** Thread moved from General Immigration discussion to US Citizenship forum as the question is about N-400 ***
