I have to upload proof of income on CEAC. I’m filing my taxes now for proof of income. Once I have my proof of income he can submit his visa application. Then wait for an interview letter for his interview date.

Hey everyone I need some info help please! My husband and I have had issues trying to figure out filing taxes. I now am about to send them off so I can get my proof of income but he just found out from his dad that the council is telling him he needs to start bidding for properties. He can’t go with him. Will moving affect his process or do we have to notify them of his move? I need help please. Thanks!

Finally at a point I can do my taxes. I e had the run around and have come to the conclusion I have to file my taxes separately from my husband because he doesn’t have a SSN or an ITIN. This has been dumb. Then we can sum it our stuff to NVC.

My husband finally received the police certificate email today so as soon as he gets it in the post, he will be uploading it. I am still trying to figure out this whole taxes thing without needing to have his Social Security number. And I don’t want to apply for a ITIN number because they say it can take a few weeks to receive one.

So we still haven’t submitted all our stuff yet because we’ve run In to a few issues. Issue 1: filing taxes for my 2021-2022, my husband needs a social security number for me to file married but separately. What can anyone tell me about how to get around this? Issue 2: still waiting on the police certificate that’s been in since the 2nd of Sept.

Birth certificate arrived last Friday. We’re just waiting on the police certificate still. luckily my husband can’t get the chickenpox vaccine because he already had chickenpox when he was a kid. So that’ll save some money there.

Oh, I wanted to ask you roughly how much did it cost for your medical visit? My husband and I are just wondering. And how much did they really do at the medical visit? Thanks!

Not quite, having some difficulties with waiting for the documents so we can submit them. My husband had to get a new copy of his birth certificate, because due to his mum passing, his dad, who is a lowlife wouldn’t have a single clue where she would have kept it. She was kind of a hoarder, and we’re still waiting on the police certificate at the moment. Hopefully that’ll come this week. My mum and I have to do our taxes this evening so that I can do my portion. It’s all coming together though we’re just kind of waiting for things to come in the mail. But as soon as everything comes in, him and I will sit down together and do his application.

I was thinking of doing the same thing with my husband. Are you guys flying back together or are you flying separately on your own?

I have a few questions if anyone can help from the UK. We’re looking into getting the police certificate and it says it can take up to 30 days. We just paid our fees and are waiting to start the DS-260. Can we order the certificate at any point or have to wait after we submit the DS-260? It’s says about getting the civil documents after we submit the DS-260, but if they give us a interview date very quickly and it will take a bit to get the police certificate we’re worried of we won’t get it in time for the interview. Also, when applying it’s says service required, what does that mean? Thanks!
