I'm 67 years old, and I have never seen anything quite like this.  It sucks, but it is what it is.   All any of us can really do is to stay safe, help others when we can, and stay busy.  This WILL pass in the coming months, and things will return to "normal"......

Do you mean his visa to be able to stay in UAE expires soon? If it is his passport he needs a new one.

As Lucky Cat mentioned this is a multi part process, I wish they would make that clearer, seems to confuse many people.

Visas are never approved on the spot.  All cases go through some form of review and administrative processing before approval.  Some countries and some cases require extended AP which can last for many weeks or many months  With the current Covid-19 complications, things get even more uncertain.  At this point, all you can do is to patiently wait it out.   I know that isn't easy to hear, but it is the reality of the situation.  Good luck.

We got married in Seychelles, we wanted a beach wedding and the paperworks is much easier there. Hassle free for both of us since we're both expats.

There is no way anyone on VJ can accurately predict when a petition will arrive at a consulate, when an interview will take place, whether/when a visa issued, etc.  There are just too many parameters that go into it.

Done  I will do the new account. I’m going to Pakistan next month with him so I’m taking him everything he will need so he has it. Is it ok to do all this like the affidavit of support and all that in feb when I’m thinking the interview will be in March or April ? I will want my 2019 taxes since my income is where it will be minimum.  I work a second job too so it will be even higher for his aos here. I have 5 kids but I’m like almost to the 250% poverty level. I’m sure that’s ok.

Here is what is needed for the UAE.

Don't do anything in advance until the case is ready at embassy and the embassy sends you an email to the petitioner to follow these steps for Scheduling interview, Medical exam, police clearance etc.  Usually takes about 2 months to receive.

You should go to your sub-forum website here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/97-middle-east-and-north-africa/ and here is a recent thread for some who are processing a K-1 and their recent experience (see below).

Also, more info here from your portal http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=United

A wealth of information on this thread

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

    Thanks

Son, this will be a very difficult process and will drain everyone's resources (including emotional and mental stability). There is 30+ years age gap. Don't get me wrong but you probably have the time to pursue it, but she doesn't. This lady is a human like you and I and everyone else here, she has emotions and a life. When she was 19, you were not even born. She is better off finding someone in the US that she can share her life with without the hassle. Same goes to you.

If you really love her, then think about her. She doesn't need to go through this. Ask her to visit you in Tunisia, live together for couple of months. You might be the one who call it off.

I mean if you guys met a year earlier, she could have applied to adopt you instead of marriage. The age margin is closer to adoption than marriage.

This is pretty much the bottom line.  If it's love you truly seek, spending a couple years together in Tunisia or having extended visits in a neighboring country Tunisian's can travel to and building a healthy relationship "portfolio" before marriage is a must before any CO would take this case seriously.  The number of red flags is enough that the first official to get their hands on it would toss it in the waste bin a moment after looking it over.

I see cases like this all the time on fb pages, it never ends pretty. All the old women wonder why they can’t have their boy with them. It’s disturbing sometimes to see these old men and women marrying someone that is 20 years plus younger. I’m sure In your case your mom must be the same age as her ?? And her kids possibly the same age as you ? Think about it from a CO point of view. Met online , she comes and you marry on first visit, she comes back and petitions. No way will they think it’s real. If this really is love she will move there and spend a lot of time there. Maybe even 2 years and then marry and file. I am only 8 years older than my fiancé and nervous for a k1. In UAE but Pakistani born. I’m divorced with 5 kids but we want one quickly as soon as he’s here. And I can still have babies. I’ve made 12 trips to Dubai since feb 2017 and we just got our NOA2. We spent a lot of time together. And in February he’s taking me home to Pakistan to meet all his family. Video calls don’t cut it. This will all be before the interview but still, I’m nervous. I’m blessed his family accepts me. You have a huge uphill battle like everyone says

he said different religions and most in Tunisia are muslim/ it is premitted for a muslim man to marry a Christain of a Jew in these African muslim countries /i know as my husband is muslim and i am a Christain and when the judge asked me for my religion he said, Are you jewish or christain?
he asked if the big age difference would be an issue
he also said she is in a finacial crisis and coming for multiple visits????? will more than likely be an issue

Love doesn't know age and all the rest as you say
    but immigration does
and we know Larry King married a woman 26 years younger than him
and i have a 20 year age difference but for years and years it was ok for an older man to marry a younger woman
and is still frowned on for the older woman to marry a younger BOY

also is normal in his country to look for marriage and to marry but very unnormal to marry a divorced or widowed woman /  there are plenty of those in his country if that's what he wants

but in all honesty this VJ community is telling this poster what he faces
and i know as i had the big age difference too
took me 5 trips of a month to 3 months and a lot of money to get his visa
    This is honest
    This comes from experience
and no one here is going to tell this OP that his process will be easy

Tunisian man is probably not going to get a tourist visa to Canada,  the US or Europe (too many trying to get to Europe illegally for work)
Tunisia ,  Algeria ,  Morocco all have a big population of men under the age of 25 and 25 to 30 / mostly why the jobs are scarce

    To the OP
My Adil registered on this site in 2009 when we applied for K1
i wish you would go thru the Tunisia posts (all the way thru the letters written in there) as a Tunisian man with big age gap (not as big as yours) went to an interview and the other people in the embassy laughed at him for the age gap
yes,  the embassy can be rude and it is not professional for them to act that way but according to that poster it did

I can not imagine your family especially mother would really be ok with this marriage   If they are OK with it because they think you will work and send money back home,  you're going to be surprised to see the cost of living here (and helping the financially stressed wife) plus our insurance and tax system is too much to help family in Tunisia
and you also need to understand that if you get past the NVC stage to an interview,  the CO in embassy will be looking closely at your education and job possibilites and a lack of former education in the US means any work you may find would be laborous    and Americans do work hard  (this is not like what you see on TV)  My adil has high school and 2 years of accounting college level and still works 6 10 hour days
