Yeah I'm a filed Dec 2019/NOA Jan 2020 and they cancelled my interview last April and issued me the green card anyway. Seems like sometimes people get lucky and just get issued. I would expect an interview for ROC in a couple of years.

This is so sad, I am so sorry for your loss.
 
Contacting your local office once you have the interview notice makes sense; I'm they will be able to close the application.

You’re not serious, right?! This is a support site. People find support in many of the comments offered - be them insightful, informative, or uplifting. If you do not find value in a specific post, who is to say that others don’t?

Officially taking a small break until ROC. 
We found this site after submitting the K1 and initially paid for RV Premium Processing. 
The rest of the process we decided to DIY with guides and advice here. 
At times very frustrating and not feedback we wanted but needed to hear. 
In hindsight, appreciated.

That’s amazing Congrats!🎈🍾!  I know of 5 cases now. My husband and another couple that was approved came from the same field office and same apt day. 
IDK how or why just feel super lucky. 
Pretty sure we may see more and more waived if your apt was already scheduled and cancelled. 
Amidst all that the world is going through,  it’s nice to see some good news. 

So I got my status update this morning that a new card is being produced! Thanks for the well wishes @Sarge2155, I think all the good vibes have worked! Fingers crossed for everyone else waiting now

Looks like the interview was waived for me. It should have happened yesterday 🥳

The ACA not only does not requires an SSN, it explicitly prohibits requiring one. Unfortunately, this is an edge case in insurance so online forms and many Tier 1 customer service or agents may not be aware of it. Push it up the chain....it is not required. Often they will use a placeholder SSN that gets updated once you have a real SSN.

Added Ryan without a SS number. Updated it later.
Massive increase in my payments of course. 
But, I did sign that I’m responsible for my husband and would have added him regardless. 
 I asked HR before he arrived. I did get push back and jumped some hoops. 
I was told the exact same thing. 
Eventually had a ss placeholder short term. 
You can definitely ask for an expedite. 
But be persistent that a ss number is not required, they will add you.

Not required.  I added my spouse to my employer based plan before he had an SSN.  When he got the SSN, we updated it.  

NONE require it.  It is NOT required by law.

Just received the update of our tracking number. Says it will be delivered Thursday. Getting very real now. This may just happen.  Ahhhh!!!!

Looks like they are slowly  trying to roll in these waivers. I truly feel fortunate to have been able to get one. I'm  very sure there are many more to come. I'm  pulling for everyone!

Update for today.my interview was suppose to be april 9th but it was cancelled.Just waiting for it to be Case approved. My field office is in Fresno CA. I submitted my AoS last jan 8th 2020 and they recived it jan 10th.

😂😂. Yes, what a relief that we may be done until ROC. 
 @Sarge2155, you were the first I met here and welcomed me on the April Forum. Than @Greenbaum  who taught me very early on to trust the process.
To our interview in the UK and the help we had from  @Wuozopo. 
Sometimes in life we cross paths with others that impact us more than they realize.

Update on our timeline: 

Ryan just received notice of AOS interview waived and approved. 🙏❤️!
Our timeline is posted on our profile but the  AOS interview was scheduled for April 15th in Chicago and cancelled due to the pandemic. 
I’m a bit in shock and thought the interview was required now. 
Maybe it’s a mistake ? 
When card is in hand than we will celebrate. 

I needed some good news today. 
I volunteer as a first responder due to the spike in COVD 19 locally and seeing this devastation has been something that I’ll never forget.
I’m certain that most of us here on this site and around the world have been impacted in one way or another. 
This in not an easy journey by any means and VJ has been amazing to us.   

We have met the most amazing couples and people that can relate to what we go through in the process.  
 
Here is to some hope  ❤️🎈🙏 that our case was approved and that all of you are safe at home.

@Letspaintcookies. Our AOS interview was waived  today and Ryan was approved with card in production. 
I’m not sure January filers have seen my post or not. 
Keep up your hope that it may be approved quicker than you think. 
I pray all of you experience the same.
