Visa was delivered to fiance' today!!

Just got the news! She passed!

After being able to check status on the CEAC site again, our case in GUZ changed to administrative processing today.  From what I understand, this should indicate receiving P3 with a week or so.  More positive events here as well.

CEAC was not working for a few days.
 
It finally gave me the status.
 
Visa type changed from immigrant visa to nonimmigrant visa. Case created date changed from June to September 23. Case last updated September 24...
 
From what I see in other forum threads this looks encouraging.

Not to be overly optimistic, but I think if they are asking to send her passport with the documentation it could be a positive sign.  Hope it all works out for you.

The “point” is probably something along the lines of they are in love and want to be together in the United States? This isn’t really offensive so much as it’s baffling why you wouldn’t understand why they wouldn’t want to wait until she learns English to settle in together.
 
Leaning a new language to a conversational level can take a lengthy amount of time. Expecting people to put their relationships on hold when they have the absolute right to relocate here before then is... an interesting take.

My husband doesn’t speak English yet either! It’s a learning process and we communicate in his language just fine happily here in the USA!! The USA is a mix of people and English certainly isn’t a requirement. I find it funny that the person who didn’t want to offend you, doesn’t even know how to properly spell “offense” ! Good luck in your process!

When I moved from AZ to TN I had to learn to use y'all  and a few other catch alls.      

I am sure I am not alone in encountering issues when moving to the US, I have tried my best to educate proper English usage and of course spelling but it seems an impossible task.

Chinese is fine at her K-1 interview, as interviewers ask the fiance if they prefer english or local language to conduct interview.  As far as the AOS interview, a translator would be ideal.  It might be possible that you can translate for her at the AOS interview, I'm not sure though...
