I'm assuming you went through the process a while ago then, ALL AOS cases are now subject to an interview from what I understand..... 

I'm not suggesting that everyone who filed in January should already have their card - I'm just questioning the October date - I'm sure it is actually much later than that

I just got the same message. Mine says delivery on 15th though. I guess you win this round!

No I got my bio’s done in New Jersey (as my local office, Brooklyn, NY was closed the day of my appointment - but that’s another story) 
Just chance that it we both got Bio’s on the same day and approvals on the same day too then. 

I filed on January 30th and they say they received it on February 4th so I actually see myself as a February Filer. I honestly thought a lot of you guys would have your responses before me. I hope you all get them soon!

I also got an updated status today, "card is being produced" (and actually got "case has been approved" about 5 hours later in the day - weird) and I have the same Biometrics date as you.  I didn't expedite my application, I can see that you did - so do you think the expedite actually sped up the process? Or were both our cases in the same "March 4th Bio completion queue"? I'm interested to see if your thoughts.

okay - So I just rechecked the pack i sent, I think I spelt my own name wrong on the first page.... then correctly throughout the rest of the document - I put one "o" in my surname when it should be "oo" I have no idea why i didn't spot that......
 
Hopefully they see the correct spelling from my K1 visa process and the copy of my passport and made that correction for me.

my online case status for the EAD and AP remains the same - "case received" but the status of me AOS application changed after the biometrics appointment to "case ready to be scheduled for an interview" - I'm under the impression my EAD and AP is still in the process.  I had my Bio appointment on 4th March.

I had a walk in at a different time AND at a different office in a different state!

Oh I just checked the code for my AOS and it has changed.  It didn't say this yesterday.
As of March 13, 2019, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number **************** for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice.

It seems to me (from what I've read on VJ) that its best to go earlier if you know you're going to miss the appointment - and depending on which office you go to whether they'll let you in, because missing an appointment means an extra wait for a new appointment.  
 
I went to a different office as the one my appointment was scheduled at was closed due to snow and I was panicked about having a long wait to get another appointment, and they let me complete the biometrics - but it was later the same day mine was due to be done.
 
I would say stick to your original appointment if you can - then there's no chance of them turning you away or the process getting messed with.

Yeah my timeline is:
 
1/30 - sent
2/04 - received
2/18 - NOA1 (emails)
2/24 - NOA1s in mail
3/4 - Bios taken (not in Brooklyn as it was closed - went to New Jersey and asked nicely)
 
I went with calling the post office and they confirmed my package had been picked up on the 4th Feb - but nothing happened for 2 weeks, I was close to calling USCIS but got the emails on the 18th.  I think they are getting through them super slowly at the moment...... frustrating, but we're all in the same boat!

Hey everyone, I had my Biometrics appointment today - got the appointment letter a week ago for the Brooklyn office at 11am today, I turned up and the office is closed today due to unforeseen weather (a little bit of snow), the Manhattan office was also closed. So, I took a trip out to Elizabeth New Jersey and asked very politely to get the biometrics done there - after a nearly 2 hour wait I got it done and headed home. I'm just glad I didn't have to wait for USCIS to reschedule and appointment for me!

Feb 27 - Just got a notification 5 minutes ago that my I-485 is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

Yeah. When you go on to the site to book the interview it gives you possible options and will show the next available date, but of course you can choose a later one
