They were misinformed.  Florida does not require a SSN to marry (non citizens and non residents)

It's all good. We try to keep each section for just that phase. Now that you're are past the K1 processing part you get to explore the rest of the forum.

I know someone that was just married in Florida and they were told that they needed a SS number. We were married in Illinois in April and we did not need a SS number. I think it differs from state to state.

I got married in Indiana and there was no mention of needing a SSN. You should be fine!

Generally, you will be able to sign a statement stating you do not have a SSN....so, you do not require one.

It is okay, that question is often asked, and you likely won't be the last. It is time to move on from the K1 forums. You should now advance to the Adjustment of Status (AOS) K1/K3 VJ forums, including the SSN sub-forum. Yes, actually there are so many questions about SSN after the K1 process, there is a SSN sub-forum. I have asked the mod to move your question to that forum.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

SSN is not required to get married. Some local counties may give you a hard time. Try a different county. There is also Las Vegas...

I haven’t been on this post in a while but thought I’d jump back in to see how many have their visas now?  I just picked mine up yesterday and I’m so glad that this part is over.  Although there’s much more filings and waiting to come I’ll be able to do that with my fiancé/will be wife. Really exciting times and just wanted to thank the people in this thread for all their advice they’ve given so far as it’s helped me a bunch!

I’m still waiting for my NOA2  we received a RFE Feb 25 and it’s been 43 days since they received it. All they needed was a certified copy of my divorce decree. I called twice since to inquire about the length of time this is taking. All I was told is I’m past the normal processing times and it could be another 5 weeks before we hear anything. My fiancé and I are bumming pretty hard right now. I see people on here already getting their visas and we’re still a long ways off.

I still don't have my Visa yet, but my interview is finally coming up in 2 weeks!! Almost there 😌

I noticed in your timeline that the state is Indiana - that's my fiancé's too! He's in Bloomington, an hour and a half from Indianapolis. Small world!

As long as the employer stated an amount over the threshold, I think you will be fine. London is pretty relaxed about an I-134. If asked about the relationship, explain that he got mixed up. The officer can correct it or just laugh and carry on. Dad could also start over and send a scan via email and they would likely take that too.

When you apply for AOS and need an I-864, it will need to be very precise. The USCIS RFEs for the tiniest errors. London not so much for fiances because it's a subjective decision whether the officer feels you'll be fine.

Something similar happened with my fiancé and I. He had completed the affidavit and physically brought it over on his last visit before my interview. He had put in a salary, and the letter from his employer stated a different one, when they checked with the accountant they both had been wrong. Anyway, like what you’re suggesting is exactly what we did, I just supplemented the pages, I had the same concern about the different page sizes, but it wasn’t an issue at all when I had my interview

Your GP have no right to refuse to give you any of your medical records. If you put it in writing then they have to give them to you. Hope you get it sorted!

Sandford010 reacted to blytheharper16 in K1 Visa Refused
I had my K-1 visa interview on the 21st March 2019 at the Islamabad Embassy. My time was 8:30am and I reached there an hour earlier along with my daughters who were under the K-2 visa. Everything was going smoothly, I was asked to submit my original bc and copy, divorce certificate, affidavit of support of my fiancé, and the original bc and copy of my daughters and also the medical report. I was asked what language to opt and I opted for English and then I was asked to sit and wait for my final interview. After my wait of 15 minutes, my token number was been called out and I went to the window and there was a very arrogant CO standing. He took the oath and he started asking me like who is calling you and how did I meet my fiancé. When I gave the answer, all he said was that I was lying, I repeatedly told him that no Iam not lying and I asked him to see my documents and evidence that Iam telling the truth, all he said was that he does not want to see my documents and he said it in a very rude way that I was so disappointed. For every question that he was asking, I gave him an answer and for every answer I was giving, all he was saying that Iam lying. He did not even let me talk and he kept interrupting me and he was trying to frighten me by saying that I won't be able to enter the US. and I continuously told him that Iam not lying, I even raised my voice and I repeatedly begged him to see the evidence that my relationship with my fiancé is real. He was so rude and arrogant that he was not listening to what I was saying. In the end he refused my visa and he said that the papers will be sent back to the NVC and he didn't give me any kind paper.
Can anyone please tell me what do I and my fiancé need to do? We waited so long for this day and some white guy just says that Iam lying without even seeing any evidence. It is so disappointing and heart wrenching that we wait for so long for the whole process and the CO like the one I had an interview with, can easily come up and say anything and behave rudely.
Kindly suggest what can be done?

I think you'll only need the flu shot. I believe the tetanus vaccine is good for 10yrs and you got it in 2011 so it's still technically in date. If you opt to get either of these done at the medical its £14 for the flu shot and £40 for tetanus (That's what I paid 22/02). My vaccination record was pretty much the same as yours but the tetanus booster was out of date so and I needed both.

Technically its good for 10 years but you can update it soonet, otherwise youll be getting one in the usa in 2 years anyhow.
MMR should be a 2 dose shot as a child but it looks like the booster was done years after.  (Trying to figure out the OPs age... i think born 1995?) So it wouldnt hurt to get the booster especially considering local  outbreaks.  Rubella immunity is important if you are thinking of having children.
