  2. They finally gave me my pay stubs so i should be good to go. Thanks for the help!
  3. That's a good question. Lol. I've been talking to them today and they said they should be able to get them to me by the beginning of the week but we will see. Not really understanding the issue with doing this except it takes a little time. If for some reason I can't get my pay stubs, what should I do?
  4. Thank you so much for this information! I am currently having an issue with getting 6 months worth of pay stubs from my employer. They sent me a spreadsheet with my pay per week, the week it was in, total hours, and gross pay. I'm not sure if this will be sufficient. I am not sure why they won't or can't send me this info. I'm not 100% sure what to do. I need to send in the papers but without that info, I feel I will get a RFE. I don't know whether I should wait them out or just use the spreadsheet.
  5. I will be supporting her and myself, so a family of two. I make quite a bit above the poverty line at my current salary. The only problem I can possibly see arising is I've worked at this job for right at year. Before that, I was a student so I did not bring in much income and did not show much on my taxes in the previous years.
  6. Hi, For the I-864 proof, what documents, papers, pay stubs, etc. is necessary to send with it? I just want to make sure I have all of my bases covered. Thanks in advance!
  7. Okay, I see. I have a couple of different people lined up already, so I should be good there. This leads me to another question: I used a joint sponsor on my I-129f. Would I need to use the same person on this one or does that matter? I am currently hourly but I am full time.
  8. Hi, I am currently filling out my papers for the Green Card and so on and I was curious about the I-864. I have worked at my job for a year next month and my annual pay is above the poverty guideline. However, where I started in July, my taxes only show what I earned for that half of the year. I did not work before then due to me being in college. Will I need a co sponsor or will my taxes from 2018 and current pay stubs showing what I earn be enough to let me be the only sponsor? Thanks in advance!
  9. I got married in Indiana and there was no mention of needing a SSN. You should be fine!
  10. Okay, so the passport will be sufficient for her? No other documents will be needed?
  11. So my fiance will need her passport to go through and that's all?
  12. Thanks for the answer! What travel documents would be needed?
  13. Hi, I am going to be getting married in April to my fiance who is from Norway via the K1 visa, and I was curious if we would be able to travel to Puerto Rico for our Honeymoon? I talked with a man I know that works in immigration and he said it shouldn't be a problem but I wanted to make sure of this and get others opinions on it. Since it's a US territory, it shouldn't be an issue, but I really don't know. I was curious if anyone else has done this or what. And I'm sorry if I've placed it in the wrong place. Wasn't real sure where to place it. Any opinions or answers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
  14. Okay, just wanting to make sure we were doing everything correctly. They definitely don't give a clear picture or path to take, that's for sure. 😂 Thanks everyone!
  15. On the top of her confirmation for the DS-160, it says nonimmigrant but when she goes to schedule, the only option for K1 is under the category "immigrant".
