Sorry for your loss. Hang in there.
It will take years for her to get here, I think.
If she is inclined, and has the required educational background, maybe she can look into going to school/college here...???
You and the rest of the family could support her that way? Just an idea.
    Hang in there, Brother
    Sorry again for your loss.

She cannot come over on a tourist visa to stay, and it is unlikely she would get one.

Your wife can petition her.   Sibling visas take 15-20 years on average.
Right!   I forgot about the requirement to be a USC for sibling petition.

For tourist visa, she submits DS-160 herself: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/tourism-visit/visitor.html "Note: Visa applicants must qualify on the basis of the applicant's residence and ties abroad, rather than assurances from U.S. family and friends. A letter of invitation or Affidavit of Support is not needed to apply for a visitor visa. If you choose to bring a letter of invitation or Affidavit of Support to your interview, please remember it is not one of the factors used in determining whether to issue or deny the visa."
Before even starting that process your wife would first need to become a US citizen. Then, after filing the I-130 petition it can take more than 20 years.

What you need to do is understand that she doesn't need a SSN to get insurance.

Contact he insurance company and/or employer and press the issue. Escalate. Insist.  Ask to talk to someone else until you talk to someone who knows what they are doing.
  6. Thanks

Good that she filed the I-765, should have that long before the green card .. and that allows you to get the SSN.

You only have 76 days from POE to apply for the SSN (up until two weeks before the I-94 expires), for now you will have to wait on the EAD card.

I have a guide with links to USCIS, but there isn't detail on the K-2 in the guide, that is still a matter of reading and following the I-485 instructions:  https://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/adjustment-of-status.html

If they returned the complete K2 applicant package the first thing that pops out at me - is the fee correct?   Fee is age dependent and is noted on the main page of the website.    if they didn't include a letter then you will have to go through a checklist of everything required as noted in the instructions.

VJ has guides and an entire forum for this.   Since she is now inside the USA,  the process is the same for everyone,  there is not a need for country specific guidance.

Theft and corruption is high in Philippines, and yes they may ask you present the Credit Card and yes they can deny you, I have had it happen to me even at hotels.

Will they ask for copy of credit card? Who know, just be prepared.

Scan a copy of the Credit Card front and back and email it, and also do an authorization letter. Remember it is the Philippines so put in their words like "Official" and "Hereby" and "Duly Authorize" ,etc to make it look really important and authoritarian.

CFO only asks for a copy of the USC birth certificate.   They do want a copy of the CENOMAR

Follow the link Ate gave you.

Everyone has AP, most times it only is for a couple days (or less) .. but it can last for weeks.   They are reviewing the case file before final approval, as long as they don't spot any issues it won't take long.

The CFO form is a bit confusing. My fiance had the same question as she was filling it out to register. The form asked for Country of Citizenship and she at first thought she was supposed to answer Filipino. But they are asking for the citizenship of the petitioner so they know which seminar you are attending. So if your fiance is American, you filled it out correctly. And you are registered for the American seminar.

I had my wife's Visa sent to a 2GO office in her city.  They called her when it arrived and she picked it up.  I would recommend she call them first to confirm this as an option.
