CFO appointment

Hi everyone!

I am the fiancee of Eli. I made an error while making the CFO appointment. I overlooked  the country of citizenship on my end. I accidentally put American  and I already printed the barcode. Now I am a bit worried, is it okay to go there with a mistake on your form? or should I schedule a different appointment  in other location where I haven't scheduled yet?  Does anyone here know how to cancel the appointment?

 Thanks a lot.

Thread is moved from US Immigration News to the Philippines forum.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

The CFO form is a bit confusing. My fiance had the same question as she was filling it out to register. The form asked for Country of Citizenship and she at first thought she was supposed to answer Filipino. But they are asking for the citizenship of the petitioner so they know which seminar you are attending. So if your fiance is American, you filled it out correctly. And you are registered for the American seminar.

That will be fine as long as she got here time slot schedule. CFO officer will give another form there to fill up.

I am an American lol, must’ve been a typo. Our K2 says, ‘Administrative processing’ and it says it can take several weeks? What the heck does that mean 😐

Everyone has AP, most times it only is for a couple days (or less) .. but it can last for weeks.   They are reviewing the case file before final approval, as long as they don't spot any issues it won't take long.

she is in cebu for the cfo, does she HAVE to have my birth certificate for it? Or will a bio page be sufficient, cause i moved and would have to drive to my old apartment an hour away just for that and hope its there.

Hello,

My fiancee is in Cebu for the CFO. Does she NEED my birth certificate for it? Or will a Bio page from my passport and driver license suffice? Because i moved and would have to locate it and possibly drive an hour away to get it and send it to her asap. Its in 3 hours, would love a quick response! Please and thank you :)

She MAY be asked for a copy of your birth certificate, but it's not in the official list of requirements.  The CFO website does say "Other Documents" may be asked for, and the USC's birth certificate could be one of them.  Better if you can send it to her.

CFO only asks for a copy of the USC birth certificate.   They do want a copy of the CENOMAR

Follow the link Ate gave you.

Right now Im looking at flights on Asiana Airlines, it says in the payment method part that if you dont have the card that payed, or you cannot present the card used you could be denied boarding..... I dont have any options, I myself have never got asked to present my card at the gate or wherever. Maybe at the first checkin counter? kinda worrisome

Answered your CC question in your other posting

I think someone deleted my post in Visa journey, so I wasn't able to respond to you. But none of my information (nor the visa) states anything about my new address. So should I proceed as if I still live at that address?

Its only an hour away from me.
