  1. Today (6 days after filing online) we've got letter from USCIS that our case was received and biometrics will be reused. Exactly the same thing as showing online when login in to check the messages.
  2. Applied online 7/31 and got notice the same day. Got the message about biometrics reuse and that it will take approximately 7 months.
  3. What's the S stands for then? They left US because they were in business of money laundering. Paid penalties in billions of dollars and people stopped using them here. The only thing for them linking them with UK is that they have office there. You've got lots to learn.
  4. I just looked at the map and I see only 2 of the branches left around DC area. I would think twice before opening account in this Chinese bank. They had big big problems in the past. Not only in US but around the world.
  5. Hi, Virgin Atlantic allows cats and dogs in the cabin (need to put them in the carrier under the seat). Aer Lingus accepts cats and dogs on their flights but they fly in the cargo hold. You could also consider British Airways with a stop, as they allow cats and dogs up to 6kg in the cabin. I don't know the fees for the carriers above, but Lufthansa or United charges $250 each way to take yorkee dog from US to Europe (or back to US) in the cabin under the seat. There is a limit of 1 animal per cabin. For example; only 1 dog or cat can be in economy class, 1 dog or car in economy plus, and 1 dog or cat in business class.
  6. Yesterday we received extension letter for 48 months I was happy to see letter from USCIS thinking it's finally moving, but it turns out it's just the extension. In June we are failing N-400 so hopefully things will move around.
  7. So you've been living in US as illegal alien before your wedding? Did you come to US illegally when you were under 18 years old? Not judging, trying to put 2 and 2 together to see why there would be such a long delay for 751. If that's the case, maybe they trying to see if there are things from your time as "unlawful" resident and that's why it takes so long.
  8. Hi Guys, We will file our N400 online under the 3 year rule. I assume that all supporting evidence needs to be scanned to submit online. What documents have to be scanned right away? Can you start your online application the pause it for day or two (to collect and scan documents)? Thank you!
  9. Same thing with us. BKK to ICN with Korean Air. Employee didn't know the rules, I showed here copy of the letter (we had original too). She called supervisor then another supervisor and that was it. When landing in US, CBP officer asked for original letter. Showed it to him and that was it.
  10. I did in Lublin but every city will do that. For example you can check this site (I didn't go with this company). But they have pricing and English language page https://www.medicover.pl/pakiety-medyczne/ Another company in Warsaw. https://diag.pl/katalogi/placowki/miasta-badania-krwi/warszawa/ https://www.english.diag.pl/?_ga=2.127713101.1194866933.1673307561-2061969342.1673307561 It looks like if you order the tests online you can save as much as 50% You can pick any type of test packages. https://diag.pl/sklep/ BTW - I don't work nor resell any of these products. Just helping fellow VJ member Search in google blood test in Warsaw and you will get a lot of results. Most, if not all companies in Poland provide websites in English. Good luck
  11. If your mother in law is now in Hungary/Poland/Czech/Romania ask her to do the test there. There are a lot of places where she can get it done. I actually did that while travelling to Europe last year. For regular blood test I've paid about $5. Did the test 7am and had the results by 2pm. Also I did the food allergy test. Tested for 100 common foods and paid for it about $50. The food allergy test results took 3 days and they've sent them to me via email. In US the same test starting at $350 and insurance is not covering it.
  12. We did. GC expired Sept 2022 and we've travelled with extension letter (ang expired GC). No problems in Bangkok at the check in for our return flight and no problem at the airport in US on our arrival.
  13. I may add Korean Air as a good airline for extension letters My wife's GC expired in September of this year and we've travel to Thailand in November. On the way back Korean Air check in staff looked at the letter and we had no problems getting boarding passes for our flights back home in US. Upon arrival at Dulles airport, CBP checked our passports and the agent requested the extension letter (I forgot to give it to him). I showed him the original letter (I've made few copies before the trip as well, just in case).
  14. Hello to you too You can't get US visa in Canada for your girlfriend. She needs to be resident there to apply for US visa from Canada.
  15. I wish gov would change AOS from B to take minimum 4 to 5 years. People wouldn't do this anymore and would do the proper way. It wouldn't clog the pipes where people applied and followed the rules.
  16. If I were you, I would buy round trip ticket. Not because it's a requirement, but in general RT tickets are way cheaper than one way tickets. You can select return flight up to 330 days (I think that's the max), and use it maybe for next time.
  17. Yes. We did, but looking at the timelines it will take at least another 10-12 months before she gets her 10y GC. Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken As of June 28, 2022, fingerprints relating to your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number abc123, have been applied to your case.
  18. Ok, so we still have 9 months to go before we can apply
  19. I just looked at her GC because she has 2y GC and it's been 3 years since she came (almost 4 years in 7 weeks). I see that on her GC says Resident Since: September 2020 - Now I remember that first in 2019 she got work permit (delays because of the covid). In general, looking at the dates on her GC, she's not eligible to file under 3 year rule? Does it count from the actual date on the GC?
  20. Hello, My wife came to US on K-1 in February 2019. She got her 2 year GC in September 2019. This year her GC expired, but about 4 weeks before we've got extension letter for 24 months. Originally we were thinking that she will file for her citizenship after 5 years of having GC. Now I did some reading and she's eligible to file N400 under 3 year rule of being married to citizen. Can we actually do the N400 application if she still doesn't have her 10 year GC? Are there any side effects? Can we do it now? Thanks
  21. I also think that the problem will be with the name not matching the passport. The airline may refuse to board you in UK.
  22. May I ask what's the reason for updating SSA records? I became US citizen over 20 years ago and never updated SSA records.
  23. It's only about 4 hours drive from Tampa to Miami. I know it's a pain to go for it, but since you are planning on going in January I would do it. Imagine being stuck in Europe with expired GC.
