  1. Copy of every page in my last 3 passports was about 150 pages alone I travel a lot for work and I go through 64-page passports under 2 years. My stamps to Thailand were in all passports, so I had to make copy of every single page (as it was recommended here on this forum). Then about 10 pages with copies of boarding passes, printouts with the itineraries, 30 pages with hotel information, 4 pages with photos. So for us probably 200 pages just for the travel evidence, plus the usual forms and other required documents. Didn't get single RFE and she's got her visa. Don't worry about how many pages you have. Make sure that you have whatever is needed.
  2. Same for me :) I'm all over the map with my 'local' languages. Arabic, German, Spanish, Russian, Thai. And of course English is my second language :) When I met my now wife, her English was so so. After dating and talking every day for 3 years she got better. Now she's been living in US for 6 months and her English is excellent. I can't imagine her not speaking English. In that case I would have to quit my job and do everything for her. To the OP. It's better if your wife will start learning English while still in China. At least the basics. It will be much easier for her to later learn when she comes to US.
  3. What cover letter did you put? I didn't put any cover letters, just sent the forms with pictures and check. So far everything is like it supposed to be.
  4. Now I've got this: It was reported to us that your IP address or internet gateway has been locked out for a select period of time. This is due to an unusually high rate of use. In order to avoid this issue, please create a Customer account (single applicant) or a Representative account (representing many individuals).
  5. Is the USCIS page having problems? I'm trying to check my case status (as I do every day). Now when I put my 2 case numbers it doesn't give me anything. Just goes back to the page where you can put your case number to check it.
  6. Just to be pedantic :) The international waters start at exactly 13.8 miles :) That's when you leave United States. 22km or 12 nautical miles = 13.8 miles :)
  7. Because of this, we've lost over a month. We were waiting for the packet 3 in the mail (embassy in BKK) but after couple of weeks of not getting any closer, I've RE read the letter which we've got. It says to follow ONLINE Packet 3 and Packet 4 instructions. I only blame myself for not reading carefully what the letter said. I guess I was so excited that we've got NOA2 and didn't pay attention to details. After that, I re read all the documents 3-4 times :) I guess that you can access embassy's webpage in Manila to download all the instructions. Good luck
  8. May filer here. We had biometrics done on June 4th and status changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" on July 10th. So about 5 weeks after fingerprints.
  9. I'm in the process of doing Adjustment of Status for my wife, and so far just on the forms I spent around $3K. Her trips to embassy, medical exam, vaccinations and travel to US was another $3K. So just to get her here was around $6K. And I've done everything by myself, without help from the lawyers. I'm very happy that I found this forum. It's a gold mine for information. Many times I've been frustrated with un-clearity of the immigration forms, but simple post on this forum helped me gather all the info that I needed very fast. I thought that gathering documents and filing forms for K-1 visa was hard, but then came AOS process. So think hard if you can afford to bring her to US.
  10. I did USPS informed delivery 2 years ago when I found out about it on this site :) Very handy. I wish that we can get the interview in the next 3 months. Can't wait for the next step.
