Ben&Zian got a reaction from Olichka in AOS interview soon - husband doesn't speak english well
Call ahead and ask about it with the USCIS office. Letting you, or your mother be an interpreter would seem to be unwise to USCIS as you could literally take anything your spouse says and change it to what USCIS wants to hear. Kind of biased and all dont you think? Conflict of interest. Make sense?

Ben&Zian got a reaction from Carpe Vinum in How long can you stay in the US on a K1 visa.
It's simple really. Get the K-1 visa from the embassy after the interview approval. Fly to the US, upon entry at immigrations the K-1 visa is voided and you are legally present in the US for 90 days on an I-94. You must marry within those 90 days to fulfill the K-1 requirements. Then once married and have all documentation for AOS, you file the I-1485, I-131, and I-765 together. Once you receive the NOA1 for those submissions, you regain a legal presence in the US and can remain during the adjustment phase.

Do like how the OP also blamed the kids for causing distractions by being in the same room haha. Mean if an AOS interview isn't important enough to get a baby sitter or put them into daycare I don't know what is.

Not really. Could call but won't get specific information I'm sure. It's probably something pretty simple or they want a new copy of something. Just be patient.

Would be quite amazing if intent was being assessed finally USCIS even after entry. But this case the OP seemed to literally admit the intent was to stay since they applied for AOS only a month after entry basically. Really wish AOS from other status's in the US would be gotten rid of but until then maybe this is a good start with harder investigations.

Maybe they took the children thinking it would be good evidence of a bona fide marriage. It has been asked here before many times and I know of one forum where the chief moderator actually recommends that people have children together to “prove a bona fide marriage” (yep, they actually use the word “prove”).
Just like the couple who sent pictures of themselves to USCIS having sex to “prove” the
relationship was genuine...

You're still well within normal processing times. 5-6 months for USCIS if not a little longer. Patience is main thing, this is only the beginning stage, and honestly it's the easiest part of it.

Ben&Zian got a reaction from clw654321 in When to apply for AOS
Oh I know I was laughing about it cause of that other poster who ranted about ICE and immigrations and all not listening to them about "planning to file" for AOS shortly but got arrested for being out of status and stuck in jail and removal proceedings, and all they did was blame everyone else for their lack of planning and choices.

How many posts is this now this week alone about when to file for AOS, how to file for AOS, or do we need to file for it? Seems like an awful lot.

Cool if they have started taken action against people who try to adjust from VWP/tourist visas.
