  1. Do you have a US passport?
  2. ***Old Thread Locked . OP has not been active for several years***
  3. I'm not sure the scammer (my personal suspicion) has ever been there, either.
  4. Agree. After clicking the "submit" button, I even panicked. I thought "Wait...This can't be THIS easy!"....LOL. It was.....
  5. After seeing the actual FB page post/ FB comments and after rethinking this, this has all the earmarks of a romance scam. I'm not sure the "boyfriend" actually traveled to the US. The word "catfish" come to mind. I've seen a lot of videos similar to this.
  6. That is not going to be a pleasant interview. I tend to agree with the others here. Wait and apply under the 5 year rule.
  7. Your parents are each a separate case. I would add the marriage certificate. Since they are at different processing centers, do this: 1. Hold the first case to be approved at NVC by not paying fees and submitting document. 2. When BOTH cases are at NVC, pay the fees and submit documents for both cases. 3. Contact NVC and the consulate to request they be interviewed together. Good luck.
  8. Wife applied online (5 year rule). It was a piece of cake. Immediately received receipt notice and biometrics re-use notice. Filing N-400 to day of Naturalization oath was less than 6 months total.

  10. Frankly, i would advise the group to start collecting money for US girlfriend to travel to Australia. He won't be getting a tourist visa any time soon.
  11. Wasted effort. He was seen as a risk for illegal stay. Nothing he can do except apply for a visa.
  12. The I-797 approval notice (NOA2) from USCIS is the evidence of an approved I-129f.

  14. How are you "switching" to consular processing? Yes, I would submit an address change.
  15. Many people have failed to apply for the I-131, then regretted it later due to emergencies. With an approved I-131, you can travel to other places, then return if needed. The last time I checked, the fee increases had been postponed until March 2024. Others might have updated info.
  16. Don't forget to include an I-131 package also. As of now, the I-765 and I-131 are free if submitted with the I-485 package.
  17. You will have to have the DOS case number in order to request an expedite.
  18. ***Duplicate comment from another thread deleted in favor of this thread****
  19. I've never heard of a passport being kept at the medical exam. However, the consulate might want to keep it after the interview while waiting for the medical results. She can request the passport back while the consulate is waiting...but it could delay the issuance of the visa.
  20. What are the other regional countries doing to help those non-Hamas supporters????
  21. How long have you been married? Since 2018?
