  1. That is inaccurate. The only place you would add a household member is on a new I-864 under household size calculation on primary sponsor's I-864. In addition, make sure you have a joint sponsor I-864 and all required supporting documents since primary sponsor income is insufficient.
  2. Liar and Chief. Is this the image of the leader of our country?
  3. Same for me. All 3 times.
  4. I'm very skeptical of his answer. Did he provide you with a reference for that answer?
  5. More government interference in my life. They can "advise" me, but I have scientific proof (actual lab results) that 2 pints of beer a day, my Taiwanese diet, 5,000+ steps a day, and a daily dose of Super Beets keeps me at near-peak health for an old codger of 70. Heck, I am much healthier than I was 30 years ago. -Taiwanese Diet (my definition): 1 serving Root vegetable, 1 serving Green Leaf Vegetable, 1 serving Starch (rice or bread), 1 serving Protein (pork, beef, or chicken)- for lunch & Dinner every day. -Western Breakfast: 2 eggs, 2 strips lower sodium bacon every day. -After dinner wellness therapy: 2 Pints of light beer (Coors, Yuengling, or Miller)
  6. You will have to see the actual expiration date on the visa itself. As I said, your visa may or may not expire EXACTLY 6 months after the medical exam.
  7. Normally, immigrant visa expiration is 6 months after the date of the medical exam. However, that is not always the case. Sometimes, visas expire prior to 6 months after the medical. Case in point: My wife's visa expiration date was only 5 months after the medical. I am not sure why.
  8. How long has she had the Green Card? The 3 year clock for filing the N-400 started when she became a Green card holder. Good luck. The N-400 is the easiest part of immigration.
  9. USCIS may or may not tell you that both the I-751 and N-400 will be processed at the interview. In my case, USCIS notified me, 2 days prior to wife's N-400 interview, that it would be a combo. My advice to assume that both the I-751 and N-400 will be adjudicated during the interview. Good luck.
  10. She must have a valid passport at the interview. The DS-160 can be corrected there, if needed. I would take both.
  11. Looks pretty straightforward. I hope it actually works as designed.
  12. Nothing you can do other than wait and see what they do. I don't think they can sign it for him.
  13. It is not a valid petition without his own signature in the appropriate field. It should be rejected or denied.
  14. That will not be a problem providing the visa holder enters the US prior to the visa expiration date. I specified that the marriage must take place in the US since a Naturalized citizen might not refer to the US as " petitioner's home country". Good luck on your journey.
  15. A few months? 1. K-1 visa holder must enter US prior to visa expiration date. The expiration date will be tied directly to the date of medical exam. 2. Marriage MUST take place inside the US.
  16. ***Moved to the UK regional forum for more accurate answer to OP question***
  17. I would just wait until visa was in hand and checked for errors. Good luck.
  18. In wife's case 1,000 people naturalized during the ceremony. I didn't see anyone wearing jeans or shorts (32 Degrees (F)). LOL.
  19. Yes. What are the implications of this situation? Naturalization issues, perhaps?
